Reactorcore Posted June 12, 2015 Share Posted June 12, 2015 (edited) Currently, the only way to make a spread attack/carpet bombing weapon that can hit multiple targets is by having very low accuracy. This is not reliable as soldier accuracy keeps changing. Can there be spread variable that sets an arc between 0-360 degrees at switch any of its projectiles and pellets will fly in? I need this for: Flame shotguns Grenade shotguns Suppression sonicguns Flechette spray guns Portable carpetbombing artillery guns Smoke spreader guns EM Pulse cannons Dead Space style 360 degree assault rifle secondary firemode gun 360 aura discharge weapons EDIT: This would also be really nice for giving aliens some devastating spread fire weapons that still work with their AI. Since AI makes decisions to fire based on accuracy, using the hacky low-accuracy method to make spread weapons for aliens can break their behaviour.
