Jasmine Moldovia Posted January 26, 2015 Share Posted January 26, 2015 Having played Xcom EW again, I find that one of the hardest things to go back to in Xenonaught's is the basic idea that the world's best soldiers can't even keep basic battle field awareness... is this possible to mod in? drages Posted January 26, 2015 Share Posted January 26, 2015 Even best soldiers cant concentrate to 360 degree.. for this reason they mostly have some one cover their back, isnt it... When you play a FPS game like battlefield or medal of honor, can you see 360 degree? Notice an enemy at your back when you consantrate on someone in front of you? Or when u look an enemy in front of you, do u suddenly turn around and look even your back? So u can want to see 360 degree, but its not about being super soldier.. You can't really give AI 360 degree vision like you can for soldiers.What you can do is how will AI react to LoS of soldiers or his allies. Also keep in mind that by changing soldiers LoS to 360,you will most likely affect AI logic (AI,depending on EnemyLoS value will be more passive and often on defense rather offense or it will try to flank your exposed soldiers all the time which could result useless back and forward moving and similar issues).
