  1. As for the singularity weapon, I'd add singularity grenades/explosives (similar to the ones Dark Elves used in Thor: The Dark World).

  7. Hey. What's more important for the game: CPU or GPU? I mean which one of two the game uses more? Say I'm still using one hundred years old Radeon X1650 Pro and I do experience some heavy lags (especially at terror and battleship missions). Will it run smoother if I upgrade to GeForce 7600GT or 8800GTX/GTS ? Actually since said Radeon is dying I will certainly replace it. Just wonder if it will affect game's performance.
  8. I'm using 1.06 version and for some reason I mostly see Androns on crash sites. I'd say it's 60% Androns, 25% Sibillians and 15% Caseans. Having a battleship escorted by two carriers would be... fun. That's what I call a 'construction fleet'. Or battleship + two strike cruisers as a 'bombing fleet'. Three landing ships a 'supply fleet'. Stuff like that.
  9. You know, you could also add 'accident system'. How does it work? - say you have a research or manufacture going. An then suddenly - an event! 'During research/production of %you_name_it% an accident happened. %number% of scientist/engineers died. Production/research delayed for %number_of_hours%'.

  12. :facepalm: Dude... you just... meh... It is possible to cover the entire globe with just three bases (3 radars each). Also take a note that alien ships are still visible outside the actual radar range, i.e. you there's some extra coverage. With your scheme 1 radar per base is ok (maybe 2 in some cases).
  13. 100 TU + Predator armour + Plasma Caster = 52 TU to fire, 48 TU for w/e else. Even though Predator has 75 points of defence, you still better not to mindlessly place your soldiers in an open spot.
  14. Sometimes I think one could beat the game with only Condors/Foxtrots if there was some kind of thruster update.
  15. I totally disabled alien mind control. Hell, this thing is the biggest cheat you can ever encounter in the game! Much cheat. So irritating. Wow!

  17. Sorry to break your air combat discussion but is it possible to add melee type enemies into the game? Like heavy armoured Sibillian armed with some kind of a horrific blades/claws, able to OHKO non-protected soldier? I guess having some close range knife fights would be cool.

  19. Sometimes my plasma rifles hit Androns with 5 damage. Sometimes damage goes up to 90. Why that much dispersion? The target is within the effective fire range.
  20. Looks fun. Recently I was thinking about melee weapons mod but all I wanted was a military knife and 1~2 upgrades for it. Does light sabre OHKO all enemies as it used to do it SW? Inb4 SW total conversion.
  21. To me the only thing that must be 'restored' is the selling price of the stuff you manufacture. Atm it's -50%. Make it +50% and that's all I need )
  22. Jungles! I never ever had a mission in jungles! Although screens above look great I'm afraid that much smoke and fire will obliterate my frame rate
