  1. What changes brings the patch. Iam 4 month in game time after 50+ GC missions and realy realy I dont wana start to grind again, and as Radek mentioned you cant afford to waste so much $ and exp for your squads so you have do do every GC mission. (at least i did it- exept those I coudnt reach- for testing I have changed range of droopships to encourge myself to buld more then 1 of each type in entire game) I will write my normal feedback when i play another month or 2 but now just few things to Radeks. First of all you have to be insane to play on iron men the game with such a ammount of bugs- if they gone then I may go for that but no untill it wil be done - so probably never - Radek I admire u:P To avoid lossing elite squad I did this- I decided to not have such a squad. All my soldiers develop slower but almost all equaly. I was hiring as much soldiers as posible each month so at the moment i have over 40 and only 3 bases. I play with them untill they reach aboout 2 ranks( my ranks are 2x slower comparing to vanila) and then swap to another rookies. This way after 3.5 month and 50+GC missions i have soldiers that can carry coyote and advenced balistics(there is of course penalty in TU but they always have it over 50). About they atribiutes I think they ok- but as I said i did hire good xenonauts every months so I had good chunk off them- hirng them when needed may be flustraiting. About blue androns ARL can usualy deal with one 1 shot, but to get it u have to catch 1 or 2 tricky aliens alive (i think) but it is a lot of help. About weapons- yea it looks like some weapons are to heavy. Viper delta yea hmm - yea hhmmm what to write best tactics 80% efective - if u fast enough your entire squad can survive- viper too of course so guess the tactic. But now less hummor. C4, c4 and lots of c4s + flamer to triger c4+ ARL and +luck and luck and a bit more luck( normaly c4 not explode becasue of fire - but I cant say yea lets himm kill all my squad i will not use the bug) I think I have twice use my first tactic- I was vigilannt becasue I spoted walking vipers and He is always with them so i have succesfully runed back to the dropship. Once I have meet him dead in ufo- I fought walking vipers staying concentretaed and waiting for the moment when He will appear- but he never did and I saw his corpse in ufo. And last time I used my second tactic but luck was involved in that. He appeared out of nowhere when I was aproaching ufo - already all aliens dead exept those in ufo- so when he appeared 1 soldier dead. Fortunately he was caring c4 and flamer guy was close to him so i trigered c4 -over 120dmg- then ARL 3times 50/40/25 and 1 or 2 grenades for about 20-30. His second turn +70HP(its insane his regen is way to much thats why he is so though)he went for another guy and kiled him again he had c4 in backpuck so I trigered that with flamer -over 100DMG - and i droped 3rd c4 in area where he can be turn 3 which means close to my entire squad. He went for a bait so I was able triger it my turn 3 then shot him with ARL and few grenades did the rest - only 2 dead soldiers - very good result. But yea he still is they type of - i will kill your entire squad no mater what u will do-guy.
  2. Write to defs it vanila stuuf sometimes aliens shoot trough walls. The ammount of bugs in this game draws me crazy its difrent story but I understand how this game was made so i try to not compain.
  3. In my game it hapens at least twice. I moved vehicle so he wasynt able to one shot me, then 2-3 turns later another alien with vortex did what first one coudnt cause i cheated and reloaded save.

I think somone mentioned that before- but I am not sure- and again I may pi.. o.. somone but I tryed first time to build rocket luncher for the hunter and during build time if I enter garage game crashes, if u cancel build or finish it that all is ok. It small thing but its more for somone who may have a problem encoutering this bug then for fixing- I had to cancel build of RL to add vehicle to droopship, so others can know what to do. @Sentelin I was playing 3 months in game time without hunter, just recently build one, so want to confirm that its ok when vortex gun one shot the full HP hunter? Just press EOT if u wish to check and full hp hunter will recive around 20 damage then last alien will one shot him each time. gc2.sav gc2.sav
  5. I presume you cant stun mechanical units you do not think same way? And viper isn't mechanical is it? so....
  6. Question. I presume its imposible to change soldier picture in already started game? I have 4 soldiers with same picture and another 2x 2 soldiers with 2 same pictures . I wanted replace some of them so I was thinking I will ask.
  7. Third month started v. good for us, as mentioned biger ufos started to fly and our Su T10 was good in shooting them down. Up to this we was able to discover new technologis. We have developed new fighter that was able easier to deal with biger enemy crafts. We was able to interiorigate aliens, and we have captured one of the alien officers for interiorigation. New weapon was introduced a Tactical Rocket luncher as weel as just a week ago we discovered improved jackal armour which we was able to produce and soldiers we just sended to last mision are better protected. In the midle of the month we usses 3 fighter squads, becasue alien crafts becomes smarter and start to fly with escorts. We have also encountered 2 new type of aliens that was encountered in second month. It seems like a biger version of viper and a queen of vipers or king we still not sure. Anyway it hapens 2 times and it is always very hard encounter for our forcess with technology we posses at the moment. Especialy viper king seems very hard to kill, soldiers reported that they use lots of rockets c4 and flamers and still those fight always involved some casaulities and always had risk of entire aquad beeing kiled. Definitly we have to discover better weapon to deal with them and its our goal for month 4. Our forcess also encountered strange subects from the past, we dont know what to thing about those encounters. From bad news, in midle of the month aliens had aerial terror mission near Sevdolovsk In Rusia. Unfortunately 24 hours earlier our squad of 2x Su T10 and Mig was fighting landing ship with escort and we lost 2 fighters and 3rd was severly damaged. Because of that we was not able to respond to alien terror mission. Soviet goverment was furious and wanted to withdraw all suport for our project. Fortunately we was able to convince them to not do this, but still we have lost over 200k in they subvention. So at end of month 3 we have 3 basses with: 40 scientists, 60 enginers, 42 soldiers (we decided to hire more- maby they progress slower byt if we lose some of them its not hard blow for our forcess, cause they have similar experience) - 22 main base and 10 per other 2 basses for they protection. Our basees posses 3 fighters(2x Su and 1 x Mig). Our budget at end of month 3 was negative by 200k so we dont know how things will go further, maby we made to much investments, anyway we try to use our enginers to produce some goods and eventualy earn on they wages. TOP SECRET CLAUSULE 1B to GC missions This clausule should be known only to leaders of the squad and under death sentence can not be discused ANYWHERE. We fight the enemy we never fought before that is more advenced technologicly then we are. Every time we are able to shoot down the ufo it is impossible to scan the terain or see anything down there, probably aliens posses some jaming technology that prevents that. In this circumstances it is posible that our entire squads may be wiped out and we will not be able to know what hited them. That is why to prevent losess of entire squads this CLAUSULE will be introduced and has to be used in GC missions. I know that you all are trained to always care for your men and leave no one behind, but survival of our rase and our freedom depends from success of the misions. That is why we need to use part of squad to lure enemy and take enemy fire on themselfs so rest of the team can react acordingly. Otherwise it posible that when you face enemy you can't deal with all squad can be wiped out and we need to avoid it. So it is alowed to group comander to expose 2 men from the squad(that are equpied with shelds and best posible armor for protection) to heavy anemy fire, as well as scouting of dangerous positions and even sacrificing them for the purpose of sucess in mision and for seafty of other squad memebers and humanity. Maby they dont know about that, but by they sacrifice they serve humanity and we will always remember them and be greatfull to them. We open Hall of Fallen Heroes when they names will be remembered.   8. 1 December 1979 It is 3 months passed since aliens invaded our home world. I will try to describe our situation in details, so The Council may know how the situation is looking at the moment and how we dealing with this new threat. First of all: as you know our funds are tight, when first saucer apperaed on the sky in 1958(I was 18 by then) I knew that sooner or later more will come. Unfortunately no one listen me, so when situation get serious 3 months ago all the countries realize that there is need for special international agency that can deal with that threat. Because we didnt had time for preperation and becasue each region has its own problems we didn't recived huge fund suport as I was expected. Instead we get 2 milion to start with and promise that eventualy funds will rise if we help to fight alien in those regions. Togheter with 2 milion we recived 10 best scientist and enginers from all of the countries, togheter with 6 specialy trained soldiers and for first 500 k we was able to bulid base in northern africa 800 km west from Khartoum in Sudan. Base was build with basic radar for detection of ufos, we included some living spaces for staff as weel as 1 lab and workshop. We also recived 1 dropship plus 2 condors. With 1.5 milion left I make decision that straigt away we need another base to extend our range of operations. We chosed Indochina as place for it close to Beijing, Seoul, Vladivostok and Tokyo. Next milion was invested in new labs(we bulided 2 extra) 1 workshop, more leaving spaces for our staff, we also extend our basic radar coverage by 1 extra radar. There was was need as well for new recruits so we hired best of the best from all of the world. In first month we fight hard with aliens, especialy becasue we didn't knew what we can expect. We mostly encounter v. small and small ufos that contains: sebillians, caesans, gargol, small vipers and they egs and few harridans. Su T10 becomes our main fighter. In reaserch division we have pushed hard to reach some kind of armor protection for our men and we was able to discover jakal armour. Becasue we was not able to send reacon teams that contains 2-3 soldiers to get information about shooted down ufos - the risk of losing them all was to high- I have writen Clausula 1B that was added to GC procedures. It is attached below. During second month we was able to discover all kinds of advenced balistic weapons that helps a lot with fighting aliens and we get all positive feedback from our soldiers. We have also dicovered better explosives so our grenades and misless becomes much better. I have ordered to set up 3rd base of operation after we have recived funds from the council. It was placed deep in Candaian terytory 1000 km north of Quebec. Only at end of the month we started to encounter biger size ufos- corvettes. We also encountered same kind of aliens like in first month. Only 1 report of 3rd squad indicated something about strange aliens that they encountered going back from one mission to another. Report is staying that 3 aliens similar to vipers appeared but they was walking on 2 legs instead of 4 and 4th one was huge like a bulding. Becasue it was recon mision when going back from previously fight mission. They decided to not engage enemy and left that site ASAP. TBC......

Up to this you was in the group so rly was thinking u joking. @Dimitri Flamer is good for even touchest enemy but close range. Try the big viper. 20x resist:P

  11. This is designed by Kabil in FItH mod and you have to think about strategy how to deal with this, he gave player proper tools to do this.

Acc and ref was intentionaly changed a bit- i hope i will not make faux pas saying that instead of defs, but its hard to say casue it seems they have bad days right now What I can say is that I was playing vanila for a week and never finished that. The moment I saw this mod I wanted to play it. Reason me and some people report smal things is simple: procedure for bug reporting implemented in vanila moved here so me and other people report every bug they see straigt away even if its vanila( Its imposible to know all vanila bugs- at least for me). If you dont want that just say and no one will bother. Feedback will be when i play risonable amount of game time, I gave my feedback on 5.2 after some time and i think(maby wrong) that it was small stone to make this mod more balanced in some way. From now one i change my atitiude to defs cause had many disagrement with them, if it helps I can stop writing anything, casue i know I can be pain in the a.. Hope when TD feels better he will change mind. Wish him and team all the best even if its end. GL
  13. Me nether, question was: is it supose to be like that?, to make sure that second thing in post is relevant which means that some weapons are not visible in GC, I am sure about vortex gun, u can pick this up shoot and u see hands shooting.
  14. Not sure it it supose to be like that but: first humans can shoot from alien weapon found during missions. Not sure about accuracy but close distance is ok to be able to shot and kill. Second if it supose to be like that then game is mising soldiers holding that alien guns. Whenewer you give alien weapon to a soldier he looks like empty handed shoting from hands.
  15. Ment to ask long time ago. After trilions of GC batles i never bother going upstars in a single bulding. Anyone knows why alien dont like second and third floorr?
  16. Game isn't so hard on normal to not be able to finish 1 crash site. You must be doing something wrong.

When you in air battle and u get message that "you aricraft is out of fuell and if you continue fight you are not able to go back home" you can press "yes" to go back home and then change orders for aircraft, finish the fight and after that your plane will reach base without problems Another thing if you relocate aircraft just before end of the month you can avoid paying upk for it. When its relocating any of the bases has it on the list of payments.
  18. Hi Not sure it was reported or no but its hard to track all the bugs. I didnt attach saves casue it happen in few battles and I use mods that may not posible to load saves. Checked with mods producers that this is vanila bug. When unconscious soldier is hited by rocket or c4 he actualy never dies even if only red puddle left on screen you just bring them back to fight, if u dont they still ok and end of batle.
  19. Another bug- as always I presume its vanila so let me know and i post it in proper section but becasue I use this mod prefer to check it first here. When during air combat aircraft will be out of fuel and u retreat from fight but then change the order and continue to fight, your aircraft will safly return home not having enough fuel. I didnt test it though and my fight just last few more seconds but still normaly i should lose plain.
  20. Hmm it is logic, I never met this bug before 5.3 and Anniliation Phazer was introduced, and evrybody was thinking its vanila bug. We shall see. Can anyone tell me is reanimation of splatered with rocket feinted soldier is vanila thing? Again I have hited with rocket one of my feited soldiers and there is red stain on the ground that can be reanimated to life. ....so unnatural hhm or maby he is no human anymore just alien-- we have to check it- imediately take him to inerririgation room.
  21. Ad. 1 Its a vanila bug. If u wana deal with that u have to do this manualy. Save close to end of mision. Then if u recive excess NO of batteries go into items xml. ctr+f find plasmacell u will se 1000 somwhere there, divide (depend from ufo size 6-14 bateries untill u reach corvete) 6k-14 k per number of bateries and change they value to that. Reload mision end it and u will recive aproximetly what u should for the mission. Sometimes game make suprise and give u proper NO of batteries after reload so remember how much u lose and get this next time when bug occurs adding what u have lost. I notice that game tend to not bug so often when price of the batteries is changed i may test it for a while and see whats happens. If its works we can change its price to 1050 or 950 and mayby it will not bug so often. Hope they fix this in 1.09.
