I struggled to get torpedos, until I got some, after waiting far too long. Also, it took me ages to encounter Caesans, either I am unlucky, or it's a bug; probably the former.
I forgot to say, this mod has breathed new life into Xenonauts, for me.
I appear to be having a CTD every time the manufacturing of a Foxtrot, ends, at the exact same time and date every time. I reinstalled, and it still does it.

I have 0.92, and the hotfix for that.
The Krash, one, is for the nextgen, weapons.
CTDtest, is for the Alienum explosives crash.

I think that it's CTDing, when I have researched Alienium explosives. When I click the 'other' tab, in Squad loadout. I also have one when I research, the thing which gives me Next gen ballistics, when I click the loadout tab.
Do you need a save, or anything?
I have a question: What program do you use to edit XMLs? Notepad++ doesn't display it properly. And when I set ammo to being Unlimited with Openoffice's Calc, none of the weapons appear, and the game CTDs on the loadout screen.
I appear to be having a CTD each time I enter air combat, and have been having a few at mission end. I though it was due to the Apollo, but I tried it with Foxtrots and Condors, and it still happened. I can upload a save file if you need it.
