I have the same problem when im on the second floor of a Landing ship. The door never opens for me and i always have to blast my way in (which is fun as i like to pretend they are trying to lock themselves in) every time.

Base 1. Africa Base 2. Central America - Intercept base Base 3. Phillipines - Intercept Base Base 4. East Africa - Intercept Base Base 5. North east Russia - Intercept base I'm doing ok . I have most of the globe covered and have 2 Drop ships running nearly non stop doing 2-3 missions a go. Also have 3 Condors and 3 Foxtrots in each intercept base.

You need better aircraft and weapons to stay safe in the game
