  1. I was only using shock batons, and wasn't seeing any numbers or resist messages, just the sound effect when you use a baton. Savegame: [ATTACH]6747[/ATTACH] Combat 7.sav Combat 7.sav
  2. On the Geoscape, it says my next objective is to capture an alien praetor for interrogation. Yet over 200 charges from advanced shock batons isn't enough to stun one.
  3. Takes a bit of save-scumming, but I guess the Deltas are doable. I reloaded to prior to the mission and gave each of my soldiers two C4s. When I restarted the mission, the Delta was conveniently killing civilians right in front of me. Took 4-5 C4s to take him out. On a sidenote: tossing a C4 into a fire tile detonates it immediately, so you only need to set off the first C4 with a flashbang.
  4. So I get tired of vanilla and try out this mod. Starting a new game, first few missions are definitely less lethal than vanilla. Then on my fifth or sixth mission (a Scout vessel), I encounter an unkillable alien. Even a C4 explosive barely scratches the thing. Looking through the unit images in the "assets" folder, it seems to be a Delta. Is the player supposed to be encountering them a couple weeks into a game? Or are these merely the 'easy' hatchling versions and the adult ones have nuke launchers strapped to their backs?
  5. Alien bases seem to be -10k per day to funding for the continent they're located in, so best to take them out ASAP.
  6. ^ I hex edited my V19C2 save in order to continue since I was 2 months in and didn't want to restart. Right at the beginning of each savegame is the version, V19C2 was "onex5" and V19C3 is "onex6". Best to use a Geoscape save rather than one from mid-battle since I'd wager those are more likely to mess things up. I carefully checked all the screens after loading my edited save and everything was intact, and I've played a further month since without any problems. Don't complain if you start experiencing lots of CTDs if you try this though.
  7. One turn, I toss a few stun/flashbang grenades at a Sebillian that spawned near my Chinook. He runs a short distance and a civilian shoots him. Next turn, one of my guys stuns him with his baton and he falls down blue. Yet the civilian keeps shooting at him and kills him.
  8. Re: the V19 Stable that will be released later this week, it'll most likely be save game compatible with the experimental Candidate 1, right?
