  1. I've never seen them pick priority targets or use cover. i have seen them retreat when they saw my men and couldn't get to them/single civilians where better targets. I see them more like the seeker from enemy within where they attack stragglers and are very opportunistic. However, if i end up with a terror mission in the dark, and see a sebby, i get very scared .

Hi all, i am loving the xenopedia in this game, specially since it grows and doesn't overwhelm at start but i'd like to pull appart certain pieces that are combined on later levels (for ex, the sidewinder has it's own page but alenium missile is together with the torpedo) I think i have found how to do this but i have one thing i can't find. since a few versions, certain pages have a little stats window on the bottom. I can't find this window in the assets file at this moment (i was looking for the corsair info, and i found it's research and its xeno info, but theres no stats window that i could find) Does anyone have any help on where to find that info? Thanks Andy
  3. would it be possible to make the cannons take the missile hardpoints though? symmetrical design you know. or where would such a request go?

So i have launched my Charlie to a crash site and halfway there finish my first Shrike. i decided to put the crew ready in the new dropship thinking since it allowed it it would be in effect after their mission. This managed to Crash the game to desktop once i clicked engage (i never saw the hints screen). reloading an earlier save and not putting the crew in the shrike made me run the mission perfectly. (And have now been happily using the shrike). Cheers Andy
  5. just CTD twice cause of this error. i have to say it doesn't always happen, my first play oif the mission, it was near the end, my second play it was the first log i destroyed. i have to say i 'modded' the scimitar to have more aps so it can move more (to be more of a scout) and reduced it's accuracy/damage. I dont think it is related to this error though.
  6. Hey all. During my hollidays i played many hours of 9.4 and found this one bug i can't seem to find easy on the forums. This bug didn't occur till the carrier stage of the game but happened for two missions in a row for my second team (they did missions fine before carrier levels) This team uses 2shield users (my main team has none) for sacrefice ends, 4plasma users with the sentinel armor, and the rest using grenades and lasers (mainly plasma grenades, since these have the biggest bang for no manufacture time. my 1st team only uses plasma weapons + electr grenades for stun). the 1st mission this ctd happened was a carrier mission, there was a glitched harridan that just stood in the command center but attempts at aboarding the mission before he was killed still resulted in a ctd. the only instance where it didn't ctd was when i abandoned without killing. the second instance was during an alien base run. since this is my 2nd team, it required 2.5hours of play, using many saves and reloads. after the mission the end screen (finances, alien alloys recovered, score) always comes up perfect, then moves to the soldier screen and then ctd when i want to return to geo. I have cheated and changed the files to improve the cost of the alien weapons (i think i did them times 10). Is there a limit on how much cash a single mission or the base can have that would cause a ctd in case of an overflow? i know i had so much money at this stage i never had to worry about it and i was wondering if a game with slightly ... modded ... characteristics could be valid for a bug report.

For starters, i really like the soldiers getting better at their jobs and taking that away, it would be even harder for me to find a soldier to be a heavy/assault/grenadier because of some invisible cap. and having this cap be random (as some are suggesting) seems unfun and hard. (And i am not a huge fan of the so called nintendo hard part of the game, but i am also turned off by the holding the hand easy of nowdays games.) And now i see you propose a drop of accuracy of all guns? are you lucky? my first allien base assault will forever be in my mind. 5 soldiers have a single allien surouunded. no cover. all 5 miss, one with a Lcarabine, 3 laser assault rifles and a scatter laser. i've never seen 20 tile accuracy being OP, but i never get that far in te game (i die or have a crash too often) but maybe it would be wiser to have a higher accuracy and a faster dropp off. having less then 50% hit chance at 2 tiles seems awefull.
