Your idea is good. But I do not like dictatorship manner that you mentioned. I feel very strange when in 10 soldiers 6 are Americans, 2 Canadians and 2 for other countries (Germany, Spain, Swiss). I think the balance of countries is very good in XCOM (2012). By the way the balance of country presence could be more realistic. 2 Super Powers. NATO and Warshaw Pact. 4 soldiers for each. 2 remaining - for random other countries. What do you think? This your irony is strange: I'm sure you'll feel much better when there are only purely russian names. I liked previous balance of names. Where 1-2 Russians appeared in any start.

Well hello... Having tough times with primary job activities.... I finally take a break and return to anti-alien war. So... what do I see in starting over the build 7. No Russian soldiers. Is it a joke? Restarted game 3 times. Can it be fixed? By the way I start game in Soviet Union, I live in Russia myself in real life, so here is the summary of my post: WTF? Please do not reduce the value of air combat success! This is vital key feature, that makes game far more exciting than any previous XCOM, except may be XCOM Apocalypse, where combat with Valkyres and Air Warriors, catching UFOs emerging from portals was really serious part of the game.

It is realism, my friend. Night fight. There could be sense in 21 century with combat PDA etc, but not in 1979. IMHO.

As to me, red highlight and amount of hits make the game look as arcade... The real excitement of looking into darkness and awaiting of if the next shot will kill the alien... But this is my opinion.

Well... I started play build 19 with 19.2.... But I do not see much gameplay improvements except the following real! 1. Fire archs of aircraft for each weapon 2. Addition of art and text in research. But...
