Dear towhomthismayconcern, So Chris (hopefully) if you improve the ticker that would open up the possibility of super mods granting things... I am not a modder but there are people on the forums that are and if you could take their suggestions bundle them up in a care package they would be able to worry about smaller(?) things that your team can't. We understand if you guys can't get around to some things and you don't want to hire new workers. Small thing if you guys need to. Push the beta date forward I want a perfect game and you are a small team of awesome people. If you are a modder say so and I'll add you to a list so that Chris knows who to listen too. Thanks for reading. Maybe show qualifications if not I'm afraid I won't be able to put you on my awsome list. Qualifications suck as you've modded this game in alpha or you modded the other games. Any ways to improve my post would be helpfull :-) LIST

I like this it does not seem complicated. It adds flavor text. It emplies that there is crap going on but Xenonauts are to busy to care their of saving the world. I hope Chris implements the ticker thing people keep talking about so this can be made easier. -
I think this page is so funny. Our beloved leader said many things can be modded using a text editor.... Soooo you could change recruit to but face or sentinel or whatever as for bonuses I will leave that to Chris and the team Andor modders

Dang sleep deprivation. Time to clarify. So whenever my troops throw a grenade I want to destroy everything except stairs. Once I had an alien stuck upstairs I had to w8 5 turn for the game to end it was miserable. And I imagine it will only get worse when plasma/laser guns arrive. As for throwing the ladder it would be a rope ladder you could throw it to the top of a building to gain an advantage over enemies and increase you Los safly. Hope this helps.

We've all broken the stairs at least 5 times. So what I propose is a portable ladder. It is lost when the mission is over. Takes 20 ap to set down. 30ap to throw and another 10ap every 1 height. And maybe there is a chance it will fall?

Gorlom since you want to quote me I will clarify this will limit their flanking options add you flanking options and possibly find them faster it is a risk and reward thing also if you dont like it don't use it. But feel free to talk about. The other ideas

Ummm another idea....... You can build a mourge. The mourge is used for advanced autopsies and a memorial page (?) and maybe this is required to have xxx number of bodies. And maybe serve as a final resting place for any fallen soldier you deem worthy. And Chris if you do the small talk thing please make the mourge guy creepy.

Thanks.... As for 2 I would not slit them to much just groups 1 of 5 and 1 of 4 to cover more ground and limit alvin escape options although I won't be trying that on terror missions.

1) capital terror missions where 1 Xenonaut is there to command local forces until Xenonauts arrive. 2) Smart copters that drop you off at 1 of few location and maybe drop a few troops at different places. 3) a memorial screen nothing fancy needed 4) The ability to destroy a crashed ship if you make bombers. 5) more political tension. 6) A mourge for advanced autopsies and keeping xxx number of bodies and saving soldiers corpes that you deem worthy of a coffin. If our beloved leader can't implement these I'm looking at you moderns.

You said this game is modder friendly so is this one to the things we can do with a script editor or is it so complicated I look silly. -
Every one is ignoring the obvious it is a helicopter let us drop off our units in a couple different place (but not close to the UFO) Example time"........... The aliens are terrorizing blank city you can be dropped off in the residential district. Or on the roof of a building a little ways away from everything and maybe the pilot has 1 extra landing choice and has levels depending on missions flown or sumthing. And dropping of a few troops at different places would be cool.
