you can circumvent the 0% or no hit chance ctds if you just use grenades, btw.

i was trying to shoot a hole in a fence with a precision rifle out of the back of the chopper. the xenonaut shot the inside of the chopper instead of the fence and it resulted in half my squad being suppressed quickly followed by a ctd.

happened 3 times so far. always either displayed 0% chance to hit or none at all and hit regardless, always happened with the humanoid guys with whiteish heads.

first time i had the ctd when shooting an alien (which happened to be with the precision rifle as well) it also corrupted all the saves from that game. the ones on geo would load fine, but crash after a bit of time has passed, the ones in missions would crash immediately. second time happened with m16, without save corruption.
