On my third ground mission. A small village with a couple of two story buildings. I surrounded the building and sent two men inside. no aliens. I sent one man upstairs to check and again, nobody home. Next turn my guy upstairs was shot in the back by an alien standing at the top of the stairs. Where did he come from? Not downstairs, that was covered. Nor upstairs, that was checked completely. Is this possible? It happened!!!

Thanks Drages, one thing I wish is that when the last alien is killed you can remain on the map and examine the spaceship instead of immediately being shunted to the debriefing screen.

I don't see a search option here and don't want to read all those posts so I am asking some questions that probably have already been addressed. Is it possible to zoom in on the battlefield, and if so how? How do you put your soldier in the hospital? On the battlefield the messages flash on the screen too fast, such as for psi effects. Can I slow them down to better read them? On the lighter side: these aliens are omniscient, with unlimited psi range and magical weapons that can shoot through spaceship hull!!!! Standard infantry tactics don't work here, need new ones. Crazy but fun.

Just turned on the game for the first time and ran for a magnifying glass. My eyes are normal but this font size is a pain in the neck. It seems to me that this problem would have been obvious from the beginning to the designers. Game designers many times confuse me. I am not a designer obviously, but I sometimes wonder how they think. Anyway I have my magnifier and am off to what I hope is a great game. Let you all know.

Hi, new here. Just bought xenonauts but cannot find where to download it. This is probably the wrong place to ask this but I see no support option. I checked the humble store and found no way to verify that I bought the game. I used Amazon for payment. Never mind, Humble Fumble finally sent the link.
