  1. Fences seem more annoying than they should be. How about adding JA2 style wire cutters?
  2. Not really fond of the bat-cave approach. I didn't think about base assaults, but I have to agree this design would not be as easily and naturally converted to a tactical level map. Speaking of base design in Xenonauts, how will base assaults work? The starting base has hangars all over. Pointlessly spending money to redesign the base to something actually defensible is not something I was looking forward to.
  3. Seeing the names of the soldiers fallen in combat was one of the coolest features of Cannon Fodder. And rookies if anyone really are cannon fodder. You could always have a difficulty setting that disables saving during combat. I don't think I could stomach playing in full Iron Man mode, but no save during combat would be perfectly reasonable (think Total War).
