Appended to last post: I believe that we have a good balance overall, but quality is a never ending story, so is finetuning. The only way we can truely achieve the best possible balance is with feedback coming from the whole community and all the players. So thank you for your feedback . -

Didnt know either, the Developers Diary 1 - 30 were shot in the believe fire works against them and smoke doesnt, but it is the other way around. We should really make that clear in the Xpedia. @sfarrelly pls ? Yes, i think air supremacy missions dont have a high enough chance, but i already pushed it by 2% from the original drages calculations. But i think we could increase them a bit more. Yes, lightscout are very scarce in comparasion to scouts. I think we should balance that in the long run. I agree, its in the work. -
ManTech.ParticleClip from the vanilla files is buggy, take extreme caution in using that. The vanilla manufactures.xml has code lines which excel cant reproduce/deal with. If you try to modmerge/change these lines without the proper code, which needs an notepad++ or similar program edit, the game modmerge errors your file out.

I want to push this, it would be really neat if quotes in quote would start working again, it would make communication, and source detecting so much easier in this forum.

@sfarrelly @drages I know that the hp buff wont fix certain exploits yet. But the hp buff was just the first step. I m looking for a suitable solution for the next patch. About the lotus. The lotus is not meant to be unlocked that easily and it is not meant to be able to get mass produced. With cutting off the terror ship supplies by buffing them and making ex ships harder to take down i want to increase the difficulty of getting too many lotus. But you are right, even for the 3rd phase its a powerful aircraft. So im thinking about increasing the Ex Alien Controlsystem requirements for it, to counteract mass production of the lotus. The firebird ( phase 1 ), the lotus ( phase 2 ), and the cyclon ( phase 3 ) are all phase 4 aircraft, with the only thing capping them is the amount of ressources you need to manufacture them. Some balance feedback about them is welcome, but keep in mind that the difficulty to aquire these aircraft will raise. -

He, he, I love it when things work out exactly like i planned it . So 1. You are not really supposed to beat it, its possible though 2. This design was beaten by someone else on the forum without even so much as getting a scratch. This is why the terror bs and similiar terror UFOs will see an substantial buff in the next patch, so enjoy the exploit while it is still there ( if you can find it ). 3. Always secure bases for a base attack, it just happens, believe me. -

Patches Notes: X-Division 99.3 and higher will need the X-Division 0.99 Beta Part 2 mod to be deactivated, as it is no longer needed X-Divison has gone the step to replace vanilla files. There has been an original file added for every replaced one in case you want to deinstall the mod. In case of doubt make a reinstall of the game or verify game integrity through steam. Before applying patches withdraw all scientists and engineers from their current projects. You can reapply them afterwards. You only need to download and install the latest Patch avaialble, it contains all prior fixes as well. The .31 to .32 patch shouldnt need a new campaign Installation: Extract the "assets" folder into the main game "Xenonauts" folder. Merge and overwrite. After applying patches follow step 5. and 7. from the main installation process again. We are starting to implement the sequipview.lua and may i humbly ask you to tell me again what the things were we should be aware of ? One thing was not to changet the vanilla ballistic starting weapons but i cant remember the rules of how to give a weapon a new category ? Can you please enlighten me again ?

Just like Drages said, those things will only affect new buildings/aircraft you build. Hm ... hm ... hm ... ... dont use libre. Libre doesnt output a file that the game can use. So if you are using libre you are simply deactivating the files or crashing your game. Use excel isntead. There are a lot of more tricks along the way ofcourse, how you can actually use libre for instance, but for now stick to a notepad++ program like sublime text. -
