Goodness, I make games and I don't do thousands of sprites for that stuff... I understand its harder because the pseudo 3D though.

I kinda hope there will be a crawl, like X-COM: Apocalypse, but the likeliness is very small.

Eh, I'm pretty sure yeah. Or else you'd have to take ILLEGAL mesures. So, it's $5 to get a very easily mod-able, and Mac and Linux port of X-COM.

I have been somewhat following the game for a while now, and I want version 4 back!(I kid I kid xP) Anyways, one of my favorite things about the game is that I can get it on my Mac, just taking the visual files from my windows copy over to it. My LEAST favorite thing about the game is the endless reaction fire from aliens. I feel like I take two steps before 4 auto shots come my way, all missing, going allll the way to the end of the map. I shall update with a new video hopefully in the next 3 days. And as for my experience with X-COM: Apocalypse, it's not that bad. Not GREAT, but still good.

Mk, it seems the game mod I enabled may have been rigging the game for me to get excellent every single month. So, time to turn THAT off. I enabled a mod that wouldn't let me game over, not to cheat, but in case I had month in which I had before that had no UFO's, and I lost the game. Well, so much for that! New episode tomorrow, or later tonight!

One thing that REALLY bugs me about X-COM inspired games, always seems to be they perspective. Mostly, the bullets. In Xenonauts, the missile from the tank/rocket launcher looks REALLY out of place. And the other thing: The bullets could look like they are going straight into the alien, then without no notice it appears to hit the ground. My Suggestions: Shadows for bullets/missiles. Make missiles fit better with the landscape ect. Make alien bullets better with shadows as well. Make sure the bullet gets closer to the shadow when it gets closer to the ground (Also missile.) Soldier perspective I believe is a bug, so the only thing I'll say is, same as bullets for some things. - Wolfy

After a lot of deciding, I've decided against soldiers talking, BUT! I will do a picture let's play after this of X-COM with talkign and everything @Sathra: And I'm using the XP/DOS version I think.... I'm not using the updated version with Extender. (I use Windows9x and XP version. With extender.) EDIT: Sathra, get ready for a lot of hospital trips.
