  1. @Sectiplave @Reactorcore Are you alive? Nice to see you. We got some serious plans for end game. We just go one by one so with phases because end game is just end and who would want to finish a great mod like X division ? Heh To be honest I never finished the game and I watched it first time at that videovide because as the end mission we need to have everything done to build that mission again. And I just like to experience the game rather then finishing it. But everything has a beginning has an end. Now X division is at a milestone because first time, we will get some very important special xce support from solver. Before this we tried to make something what we got, now we will have what we need. I can see that the materials are rich at game play as AA and alenium. We will use them more at more placesManufacture will be revised with new options we have. Everything you loot , but everything from the ammo to corpses will be part of the manufacture and research line. Mechs are one shooting aliens. Give me some ideas how to balance them please. What could a mech have advantage and disadvantage? Vehicle vs melee combat will totally change, there will be anti vehicle melee enemies. This will balance the game very well I think. Nobody will be safe. Anyway, next patch will be huge. @Redsky You probably miss all the ufo core disassembles and more. I don't know why. You need to read xpedias to understand the mechanics. You can see the lists which you need to capture too.
  2. With 0.34.2, your vehicles will be vulnerable to EMP damage. This means "harmless" caesan stun weapons aka lightning and thunder series will hurt vehicles much more then your soldiers.. We will put special melee creatures with EMP damage to be a real danger for the vehicles. These all new things will take away all your advantages against aliens with vehicle using. We are sad for you.. (not so much to be honest :P)
  3. Of course the vehicles will have buff but they won't have same hp for sure. You still got your brain vs AI and you can use many strategies against alien vehicles. And vehicles got already OP weapons i think so we will see..
  4. @stem111 Let me answer some of them - First core will be used at research to understand and learn it. And its a game engine fact, every first item used at research.. its logical i think.. - Storeroom, we don't have a fix for it.. maybe future XCE.. maybe - Bases comes often.. it could be balanced. - The AI can go nuts at closed places for big alien units.. but at open places they are fine as they can. - Terror repeating will be solved with next XCE we hope. - It was a wrong code at AI, very little thing to make them go near you.. i fixed it but not released the patch yet. Melee units like reapers, some of them jump on you for reason, because they are stupid aggresive creatures.. but others hiding.. but still that lame code did most of the craziness.. - More civillian more reapers more zombies, yeah walking dead style missions because it's "terror" - Every phase weapon got mk1-2-3 and other phase got another weapon.. so your suggestion is not right for the system we created.. if you cant finish all mk's you will just go to next phase weapon.. you can't have all.. - Every phase is 3 months about and they are slowly beginning 1 month ago.. if we make it longer, i could be boring.. but we can balance it after some patches and mod totally finished. - 12 alien in cruiser command room? this is madness :).. AI will be revised more and more.. we will make new nits and some rules will be changed because of the new things with new XCE.. but about doors.. maybe we can open little ufos doors.. Other things are still at testing period.. everything is at testing. But this reports help us so much.. Mod is created for veteran difficult. At veteran everything is 1:1. So normal difficult could missleading for us because aliens are weaker. thx again..

  6. And some good news. Thx to Solver, he will soon solve our main problems. XCE 0.34.2 will come soon to handle our main problems. - Manufacture UI: We will able to have as many categories as we want and with a new command to erase manufactures. This will result much more clean UI for you!.. With this support, we will bring you totally new armour and vehicle manufacturing with using alive/dead alien/drone bodies. Also new one time manufacture-update system will handle your micro management problems. We will only touch some annoying ones like shields, so don't worry. - Melee creatures attacks vehicles: Yeah you won't able to hides behind your tanks from now on. - A full overhaul at zombify system from reapers: With new code, we will change zombification from just one it zombies to zombify when killed. So the alien should kill to zombify. But it won't be only this. Now any creatures you killed spam something different when died, maybe a worse thing, maybe a little dangerous one.. Charon got sick ideas for terror missions.. welcome to new hives.. - Terror Mission Timer: We hope to get a fix for this too. This 4 things will change this mods future. Please continue to send us any bugs and balance problems. So before this new XCE version we can handle as much as old problems. At next version probably you will need to restart because we will add/change many things.

  8. @Sectiplave The difficult is planned as you said. At veteran difficult , you get a good challenge, normal is hard too but more forgiving. We wanted to add difficult to all phases as rising. So p1 would be easy p2 normal p3 veteran and p4 insane. Because all the xcom games get easier at late game because of the tech you got. Every phase at X division is like a new game with totally new coded aliens and their techs. So you never fight against lesser enemies. Even a veteran xenonauts or xcom player would have hard times because we are the only one who uses damage types and resistances so much with a complex research tree. We will do much more. A preator level race will be added. All the armour and vehicle manufacture system is changing now. New legendary weapons will be added. Buildings are mostly planned but waiting for a mapmaker. I hope a map making player want to join our team in future. We are praying for xce 035 to give you much better UI. I don't think someone who likes old times challenges and a true management will play another xcom style game after this mod finished.
  9. You finished it? We did not finish it.. we did not even see phase 4 :). The mod is finishable at least :). Happy to hear that. Thx for great bug catches. The most important one is about late game specialist. It should work as intended. We will check it again. Do We have Hyperion? I thought I did not put it in to 0.99.. very strange. Can u send us a save?

Sadly, probably, you will need to restart that mission, from geosphere.
  11. Maybe you get the req before we patched.. so you could never get it..you can give it to yourself with a creating dummy research.
  12. Yeah vehicle MAG weapon got bug.. Reapers could problem at first.. you need to have some flamethrowers..
  13. Zombies should have a nerf, you are right about it. MAG weapons are phase 2 weapons. There is no problem about that. Phase 3 weapons would kill you in secs if enemy got that. Hunter is a missile vehicle, its normal for it, but defender should able to use it. Need to check.

  16. I asked to Charon about the new race and he told me to ask to players. See.. I love his solutions. I will ask to you what xenonauts missing as alien race.. I am thinking an ultra tough but fewer at numbers. Mini boss race I can call with all the abilities like flying and teleport. But we will see..
  17. About Charon and my decisions about x division mod; As all the players, everybody got their own ideas and wishes about game play. X division started as my vision and goes to 0.98 with draku help. After much work for 0.99, this became much more then I handle because I am art maker much more then coder. Charon came up and take the coding part of the mod and handled many missing aspects I planned to make and more. With draku help, we managed to finish 0.99. Even I am the lead manager of the the team, other team mates got their own ideas as I said before. We are not a company. We are people who want to have a great xenonauts experience. Charon came with great ideas and solutions to all problems I could not solve alone. We discussed tons of things and find the solutions and decisions together. But at some points, there are things that needs to be in x division as I wanted. These things were essential for x division soul. So for that points, Charon made a mod ,which he already got before we meet, to have things as he wanted. There is no right or wrong here. Those are decisions and different point of views. You can choose whatever you want. Even x division is much harder then default, Charon wants it much more brutal and I think it's a deal breaker for many people who wants to enjoy the mod with more relaxing way. I can't and don't want to force someone to give hours to my project for free. X division is now not my project and it's a team. But as all the team, this should have a lead who says the final word. I mostly say yes because all the team thinks same for %95. We put all the ideas and problems on the table, we make tests and after result we use the right thing. If there is more then one right thing then I choose the one which will fit more X division and if Charon likes something in the mod, he uses it at its own mod. So we are a happy team. We don't have any ego or anything to each other. We are now 4 people who got unique jobs to do. I do art, Charon codes, draku tests, sfarelly descriptions and lore. I got phase control, ground combat, AI, game content and Charon got manufacture, research, balance, great solutions, air game. We are really a great team. So we don't have any problem. Charon don't miss the good ideas so he uses them at his mods and it's mostly game config edits so the content is hugely same. Thanks to them I can work on art part much more and as you at my avatar, a totally new ultra cool race is nearly ready as art wise. So after 1.0 , you will get totally new things for expansion. I wish we got someone from old mapmakers and a xce coder.so we need to be 6 people in team to give you the best possible xcom style game experience. Buh I wrote so much
  18. Hey Larry, You just can't able to build an alien fighter just because you can shoot down and get their core. Being able to manufacture an alien craft needs many special researches from alive alien specialist and many more devise researches too. X-Division never gives you easy manufactures!
  19. For more options to have. I am against to using famous content but as a additional enemy, i did not want to lose that opportunity. To be honest die dont like exactly the original aliens too. Xenomorph means something from xeno like xenonauts.. so it fits somehow.
  20. 1. The phases are blending at the end. I mean you don't get to next phase directly. At final month of a phase you start to see next phases UFO's. A cruiser is P-3 Ufo, Look to the corpses, if you see soldiers corpses it's p2, if warriors, p3, if elites, p4.. 2. Need to ask Charon, i don't know the reason when they don't drop anything. 3. Aircrafts don't have any problem. Why do you think that planes should carry that numbers of weapons at first place?
  21. XCE got final Lore as i know. You can get the XCE and just take the lore from it.
  22. Your install messed up. A good reinstall could handle the problem.
  23. Probably, you got the problem.. you installed XCE, right? Antimatter sniper is your ultimate phase 1 weapon. So you need to have a good carry capacity soldier with him or you need to use less armour.
