  1. This mod is highly alive capture related. If you miss many of them, it would be problem. Some research chains patched with updates but if you started the game before patch, it could create problems too. So anyway the next patch will be big and will have many new things so you would need to play a new game. There is time for it still so I hope to give you much quality mod with minimum bugs and problems. I will check the saves soon. Thx.

  3. To be honest, the storage UI needs a real sorting. People check what they got annnnddd they just lost it in 1000s of things.
  4. After this versions additions, i think if someone plan to play Xenonauts after those years, they will come for a new thing, a big new thing to give him a reason to replay or begin with.. As there is nothing from the developer side like a DLC or expansion, the only point will be mods.. and he looked to a mod. He will see there is one, bigger then the game total size.. he will think that, there is something serious out there.. we know what will happen next, doesn't we?.. Aside for half joking, this is the fact at games now..

  6. Mega is the most used, most helpful, most practical and mostly only %1 of people got problem with it.. Do you have any suggestion?
  7. Thank you kottis. You points are very good, at next patch we will handle most of them. Can you send me a save or tell me exactly which ufo command room got so many aliens in it. Thx!
  8. Yes, i spoil them finally. Those are the new aliens, all images finished, coding is still on at Draku. Final six are new Draconian race which will join to game later. First four are cyber dog and drone mech from robocop to Androns. - Cyber dog or robodog as i say short, are very fast melee units to support slow androns. They are seek and destroy units. Their biggest difference from other xenomorphs and reapers, they are anti vehicle. Their bite got a huge EMP shock and they got a shock wave detonation when they died. But don't worry they can tear flesh easily too.. - New mech will be a replacement for andron mechs probably because it fits much more to the game. - Mantiraptor, as you see there got a raptoristic body, some alien horns and paws.. his mantis claws are enough to make you 2 piece. Again fast and deadly. He will be at sebs side, as a lesser reaper. - Endacore is a huge alien brute creature which will take a side with sebs again like the xenomorphs heavy units. You won't want it near your soldiers. As the new things we got from solver, we will have evolution chains now. What is this mean? For example you will see many xeno eggs at the map.. after 5 turn, those egg will become a drone.. after 5 turn it will be a walker.. then preadetorian and then queen.. if you don't kill that creature in given time, you doomed. Same for sebillians as mantiraptor will become reaper and a reaper becomes endacore.. Addition to that, a lame little alien, could turn a human to a much worse creature when it bites.. As our choices are endless here, we don't know what chains we will create. Enough spoilers.. i go sleep.. cya!
  9. Hearing those from you is very nice. As i know (ok i dont but i can imagine after years) this is not a game engine, but there was always big possibilities to huge things with just easy and very hard coding on it. There is a reason why i non-stop calling you and other XCE coders to give us some little things. Because i know the game has it somewhere. I did not go to custom missions to be honest, even its possible to do, i never think you would help us so much about this, so my list was with full of little touches mostly about fixes and some few things.. But as i said, with only some mission types which could be spawned without UFO, is more then enough for us and this will give us months of work.. so we won't implement this whole system very soon (except princess, which people think still i am joking.. dunno while) anyway. Let me show you what i created with my animation and rendering skills: All of thems animations and sprites finished, and half of them are ready to game. other half will be finished in this week. We just needed a support from you and we got more then enough, for this reason we hyped out of human limits.. As you see all of the sprites are fitting to game concept and art style as much as they can.. i will name one "solver" .. probably the winged draconian leader..
  10. Charon is high now.. but even we can have that custom missions by research and zone point, we can bring it to new very new levels. We can link a story, we can get new research from those, new items, can meet new aliens.. We can add humans into the game with it.. I can bring Mulder!.. This script could be a little step at the code but its a huge step on modding. Hype train is on the way..

  12. I did not change the color theme to fit to default game.. so shadowing could not fit maybe so i used direct white colors.. the ones you showed are all chemical or biohazards amblems. Not fit too.. We need more default symbols for default XCE.. Probably you both are right.. green one is the best for standard. Others are up to modders itself.. as the default game don't have any custom mission, the XCE won't add them either.. at least they will add it as xce mods which still up to modder.. I can create whatever they want to have.
  13. As an creative artist, a color change would be weak to my standards, but as you said we need to find something to fit default game.. Here is some designs.. and all needed files.. custommbuttons.zip It could always change for the purpose of the mission of course. I just liked the half head one..
  14. Re hi.. i was away for a while.. "SHAME!!!! SHAME!!!".. Nice things are going on.. we are closer to my preator princess with evil uncle scenario.. Xenonauts biggest problem is nothing have an identity.. Its like to call NASA, "Astronauts"... So when using the symbolic things like bandages, ranks, medals, they are all random things which not connecting to a militia like Xenonauts. X-Com made it great with the most possible way. So the first thing i done was creating something you name like X-Division as who you are. Why did i explain this with my bad english? As Solver wanted to have new items, i can make a "X" , if i would do it for X-Division i would use a shield. But for the vanilla system, i don't know what would be the best in a little circle. I will look for some designs right now..
  15. @Solver I want to tell you about a strange visual bug in game for a long time. It's about weapon fire and damaged animation on ground combat. I don't know that every body got this problem but even the main game has it without modded i think. Even a clean install didn't save it.. So the problem is when you shoot someone, the shooting animation starts and goes until the bullet fired. So the soldier or alien is aiming with the gun and when fired the animation stops and the unit go to idle state. You don't see the weapon lowering part of the animation. It resets when the bullet is air. Same for the damaged animation to unit. When a bullet goes to a unit, you see a 1-2 frame and its again idle.. You see only a falter at that unit, not a whole damaged animation. This things mostly could be unseen because of the heat of the game or you don't care much but it's annoying same time. Please can you check this at your side? With normal game, XCE and with another mods.. I dont have any reason to have that kind of global bug in animations both our and alien side..
  16. Mission spawning is about adding RPG elements to game. It's not impossible and fraxis Xcom tried and somehow handled it. There is something important too.. what will your objectives be? Destroying an object? Killing an alien? Stunning an alien? If every mission will end with killing anything, it could only serve to main purpose.. more alien killing..How many aliens should die for saving earth!!!.. Another important thing is, if we got those missions we need to have a modable "brifing" in front of that missions. For spawn, i say research and Country relation ticker is enough for spawning special mission. We can much more then Xenonauts mission line like capture officer, capture leader, blabla.. we can create real leader missions like capturing generals of all races..
  17. If i may to join, Mission counter. 50 base supply mission, 5 terror mission... Base counter, after 5 base we got something different. I don't know that game can do that but: Total Dead from a race. 500 Sebillian deaths.. Total or per zone point counter. A mission before you lose the zone, to regain its safe. UFO counter: after 50 scout.. Xenonauts base counter.. after Xenos got 5 base... Research is still the best "side quest" mission spawner. "We got a signal but we are not sure we can keep it.. you need to be hurry, Commander", a mission spammed with 2 day limit.. To be honest fraxis used this kind of things at Xcom very much.. even as DLC..
  18. A mission trigger with a research is not bad idea. "We discovered a signal with this devise which points a hidden alien ***** (base, factory, meeting... whatever you want), we can now go and join to party".. It's same as end game but you do it at midgame. You can even create end game clones, you can even teleport them to their planet with a research chain needed to real end game. You can meet with boss preators girl and your soldier can fall in love with her.. then she wants to speak with her father but you get a distress call from another research or after a certain trigger value, and you see that princess ship is under attack!!! You go there and save the girl, boss preator changed his mind but at that time, he killed by his evil brother.. After that situation a new research came up to search for his position. When you go to him, you captures the girl and want you hand over the world.. you give the world and love wins.. So its better then twilight and default Xenonauts ending at least.. Rather then base script, why dont u use the "ufo crush spawn when you dont do anything at beginning of the game script" ?
  19. Can't we use a trigger about the country points. The mission will spam when the point is for example 200 at that country. Let it count the ufo missions.. a special mission pop up after aliens done 50 research mission ufos.. Let it make another thing after 10 alien base spawned.. Let it spawn after 5 terror mission.. Dunno, some ideas..

  21. X-Division goes to 1800.. we plan to finish it at 2000, because after that, enemy will be so powerful.. but it's up to crazyness of a player still. We can make phases longer too if we see people can't get all the req things in a phase. Why don't you do modable so modder can give that ticker numbers?.. Will they bases can update more then 3? so will they go 4,5,6 in time? It would be nice for late game.. for everything..

  23. LOL, of course we will test it! You name this mod version as 0.34.2 like a hotfix for 34.1.. but if i were you, i would name it "0.40" at least because an XCE added bunch of new features to game rather then just softcoding and fixing the game for first time. What would be more awesome? A message box pop up when you get back a country: "Australia is saved and now they won't be reaper food anymore, at least for a while!!"
