  1. I have the same problem but I have Windows 8.1 (64 bit version). I did a complete wipe of all XMC mods and reinstalled with 2 version and updated with 2.1 after deleting mod 2 version. (And I started a new game). Not sure but it only happens to the base that builds the big garage...all other bases are unaffected.
  2. In my game only some ships have this problem and those that do your solution does not work.
  3. 1) Your choice I don't see well enough (5 eye surgeries) to make out what the drivers look like. 2) YES, please. 3) Or improve accuracy of HMG & range seems a little low. But yes anyway. 4) Don't we already got one. 5) Not for me...don't use the one we already got. BTW I did everything but a complete new install and still don't get opening jeep.
  4. The engines in the saucer section are in the prongs side of the ship...I just assumed because the black section was the engines that it flew saucer being the front. Engines push the scout?! And I noted that the saucer also was first in the air combat simulator. But I did not create the game so they would answer more effectively.
  5. Sorry don't remember seeing that...when I delete the scripts folder do I reinstall just Choice 6 or all of them?
  6. Okay when I downloaded the correct version of this (or successfully downloaded) I started a new game and got no starting vehicles in the garage. And no vehicle ready to be built. Had to research to get a vehicle to build is this correct or should I have a vehicle when I start a new game like it says in the 1st post.
  7. Well, I downloaded Choice 6 again and found that my previous download was missing two folders plus the files in those folders and several files not in those folders. Added them to the game I am currently playing and no more crashes when I build the new vehicles. Oh? Met a cruiser first time and when I fought it I could not see the first level even when my men entered that first level under the main section the wings were okay. It was just all black. When I used the level indicator it showed all black on level 1 and 2 and the top of the cruiser in level 3.
  8. Got a problem...maybe I screwed up the install. When I BUILD a researched vehicle my game crashes when production is finished. Any ideas? The only two vehicles so far as my research has gone that don't result in a crash when I build them is the Hunter and the Scimitar. Not sure about the one that hovers as I haven't researched that one yet.
  9. I suggested an Osprey as a dropship...don't know if I was first with the idea. Not sure if the "real" Osprey would fit in the hanger but it carries more than 12 soldiers. A scaled down version is nice. Rather than AA weapons it would have ground support weapons but not sure the game supports Air to ground weapons on the ground combat map. But close in air support would be nice. Maybe the drones of the enemy could be morphed into ground support weapons for the humans.
  10. Interesting idea but not one I'd necessarily add to my game. Since your scenario has the limited money idea and secret organization; how about the "more enemies" being a government that is not part of the "secret". Or a billionaire setting up his own organization to get the tech to sell. This could be the organization the spy was selling to which I thought was not as fully developed as possible.

And the game crashes if I go to a garage where I have a vehicle and am building another vehicle--even if I change workmen assigned to zero.. In case it helps the negative millions is ALWAYS -2147483648. I was going thru the files and noticed that the picture of the Big Hanger (both finished and under construction) are the same as the Big Quarters (finished & under construction). BTW why would anyone want a big hanger that holds the same number of aircraft as the regular hanger.
  12. I can confirm that finishing the larger garage definitely "caused" the change in man days it requires to finish things. I stopped all production and research except the larger garage research and put the timer in slow so that it advanced at slowest rate...as soon as I got the message that larger garage research was finished all the garages changed to the larger model...and the man days needed to complete things in the shop became negative (usually by millions).....while the man days to actual complete things when I put items in the workshop became -8 days (no matter what it was all were -8 days). Prior to that whenever I went to the garage to see what I had there the game crashed.
  13. Got a problem. After researching the big garage...I seem to get them automatically in my already built bases. But as soon as that showed up everything else got changed in that man days need to build something became -21535493 days...NOTICE negative number. Whenever I put workers to build something it becomes -8 days to completion and time passing has no effect on this number. I also crash to desktop when I completed building a vehicle (before big garage was built since I cannot complete anything afterwards). Not sure if this is a conflict but I only have mods you said were compatible (mostly maps).
  14. How about a aircraft like the Osprey V-22? It would fly faster to the drop site but land just like a helicopter. This would be a follow on to the original and not require alien alloy...with perhaps a later version that does require the alien alloy but fly faster and take more damage.
  15. Well I can confirm that the file now has the 2015-11-01 at 10?? so now all I have to do is delete Choice 2 and put in the new one and add this one (over the old one?).

  18. Just clicked on link to part 5...it still has upload date of 8/8/2015 at 755am? Which was the one I downloaded earlier.
  19. I played the game to completion and never were offered the two new buildings (larger capacity garage/smaller command room) and I did all the research that was offered to me. I looked under buildings.xml in part 5 and did not find these new buildings and I downloaded the newest versions.
  20. Just finished my first run thru with this mod. Very good. Although research was a feast or famine type of thing...either I had more research items then I had researchers or I had NOTHING to research.
  21. Problem with just changing it to "1xItems.etc.," is that you NEVER get a second Alien Heavy Fighter Datacore. The only data core that I got was the first one...after that just the other stuff. And I shot down a lot of them.
  22. I am getting a Crash (Freeze) on trying to load XMC...I updated to all the latest versions of XMC today...the error message says invalid manufacture requirements for ManTech Heavy Fighter. WENT into manufacture.xml and found heavy fighter and edited out requirement for heavy fighter data core. After that it loaded and ran okay.
  23. I noticed that I can equip my men with the captured weapons but they don't look like the converted ones that are pictured they look like just captured weapons....do I get a research to convert them later? And no stats anywhere for the weapons.
  24. Hmm. The hidden category is where all the NONE appear...thanks for the clarification. Placeholders...oh well...guess I wasted some of my precious MONEY. Trying to find out what NONE meant.
