[20e5] Geoscape Air terror site CTD

Currently I have an air terror site in my game that I cannot reach now when I load my save game there is an alien ship icon under the air terror site icon that does not go away when the terror site is finished (finished on its own I cant get interceptors to it) the icon is glued to a single spot on my screen even when I move the map side to side or zoom in it is independent of map movements. If you click on the icon no matter where it appears to be on the map you get the intercept dialogue to pop up. After the terror site has run its course this icon stays stuck to the screen as before but causes a CTD if touched.

as you can see below the icon of the ship says terror site 01 just like the terror site icon does but it is up at the same time as the terror site and is always in the same location of the monitor even when the map is moved or zoomed in.

So far I have tried exiting to menu and reloading, restarting game after crash and reloading, interacting with the intercept pop up before it expires. nothing works to rid myself of the stray icon. I've tried doing other missions and its still there when I am done with air combat missions, also tried going into the individual bases and back to the geoscape.

I have not tried doing a ground mission to see if it stays after that. I will try this later when I'm not so tired.
