Item Recovery from UFOs/ Missions

Would I be correct in remembering that the amount of Alenium/ Alloys is still hidden away somewhere, or is this in the assets folder somewhere. Also for the equipment carried by the aliens?

I know that some of the UFO tiles have alenium or alloys set in their spectres for when they are recovered.

Not sure if that is related to them being broken down at the end of the mission or the recovery value of the UFO though.

Or both.
