[Ver19.3 Ground Combat] CTD when civilians are killed or get stunned

Ver19.3

My game crashes every time the alien kill a civilian.

I can let the game crash when I try to stun a civilian or an armed human with a flash grenade.

Flash grenades have 40 stun damage, Stun grenades have 50 stun damage, for those who do not know.

I can crash my game when I hit one of my soldiers by mistake with a grenade.

Stunning or killing aliens with grenades work without problems...

Will crash with the alien hidden turn. -> You will hear gunfire, a cry ( human ) and crash.

yea, attachments on the forums are buggy. Uploading it to dropbox or somewhere and posting a link to the file does work. It's an extra step but I'm sure it's appreciated over on the dev side.

I grenaded my own troops on the first mission of this build (indirectly as it bounced off the UFO) but no crash. Will look further.

Good to know that you have no such problem.

I will deinstall and install again. Maybe something went wrong when patching from 19.2 to 19.3

I am not so far in game now... 4th ufo.

Will try to reproduce the bug with a fresh clean install.

Hated my new base design. Did not know that I could turn the buildings with the mouse wheel.

After I got these knowledge I tried to turn as much as I could.

The hangars killed me, if you turn the 1:2 to 2:1 and build it, the plane in it will be stretched to the sides and the front/rear will be pushed together.

And I dislike dropbox, they had some security problems in the past.

I found it!

A wrong entry made by myself caused it.

Could not reproduce the bug with a fresh installed game, so I looked at the files I had modified.

config.xml was the evil one :

was : <BleedingWound damageAmount="10" chance="20" hpLossPerTurn="2" />

set it to : <BleedingWound damageAmount="0" chance="20" hpLossPerTurn="2" />

should be : <BleedingWound damageAmount="10" chance="0" hpLossPerTurn="2" />

Now the game is stable again.
