I have noticed a small but when entering a 2nd missions in one flight (i.e. not returning to base in between missions). If a solider ends the previous mission with no ammo in their weaponm, the ammo counter will be blank until you have reloaded. However there is no indication to suggest a reload is required, you simply cannot attack enemy units. I have included an image to show what I mean.
