1.59 vs CE0.32 HF2 - which is more stable?

i just had a crash on a really good run on a landed medium sized UFO. then it crashed on the last enemy. i don't play ironman (i see no reason to) but i don't save usually. so all i have is the autosave from the start of the mission. i'm not really motivated to replay it all again.

if i restart, which one is more the more stable version? 1.59 or the CE 0.32?

Depends on what you mean by 'stable' exactly. XCE has a multitude of fixes and improvements over 1.59 so, in a sense, it's more stable. But I don't know now they compare in terms of raw likelihood of crashing. There's definitely occasionally crashed that happen with XCE but I've not had anything significant in a long while.

Checking 'endTurnAutosave' in http://www.goldhawkinteractive.com/forums/showthread.php/12193-How-to-Write-(Good)-Bug-Reports might help with that.
