the crash happened with X:CE thx Ilunak, will try that with endturnautosave if i play again.

i just had a crash on a really good run on a landed medium sized UFO. then it crashed on the last enemy. i don't play ironman (i see no reason to) but i don't save usually. so all i have is the autosave from the start of the mission. i'm not really motivated to replay it all again. if i restart, which one is more the more stable version? 1.59 or the CE 0.32? thx, dance!

usually it works fine. but in this mission, when i click on this flare, in this moment the game crashes (stops working and windows asks me to close it). i have tried 3 times (sometimes moving before i tried to throw it) and crashed every time. i have no mods installed besides the community edition. well, i modded pistol and machine gun values and air strike values (but not flares or grenades). in the save, the character in question is selected. as you can see in the save, i used many flares already and had no troubles. i will continue the game and post here if anything else unusual happens. edit: loaded, moved another soldier and now clicking the flare does not crash the game anymore. bug.zip bug.zip
