NuclearStudent
I've gotten pretty attached to many of my soldiers, and tend to reload a save when one I really like is killed. To make up for it, I've either executed a pair of rookies, gassed my own troops as a handicap for the rest of the mission, or thrown away something valuable. To standardize the process, I want to hire and rehire a number of scientists depending on the rank of the soldier/soldiers who died. How much do you think the various ranks of soldiers are worth in terms of dollars?

How much do you think the various ranks of soldiers are worth in terms of dollars? Executing rookies? Well, you know what they say... "INTO THE MEAT GRINDER MY ROOKIE MINIONS! MWHAHAHA!" *ahem* Anyway: $2,000 for an overpriced/untrained rookie. $5,000 for the Average Trained Soldier. $10,000 for a Commander with 70+ in 4 different stats. $20,000 for a Juggernaut that can take on a Sebillian Elite with a Ballistic Pistol and win. FiesesAlien
Heyho! The first Training of a new Recruit with all the Stuff he needs is around 9k, the highest salary per Month as a General (without danger additions etc.) is around 12 - 15k a Month. Forming this into Xenonauts where you just have 1 Type: Soldiers. I think theyre worth 12k Buy/Monthly Wage.
