Ragnarok
I just boarded my first landing ship. The upper layer has a small hallway, and the teleporter are divided by "walls" from the "control" section. I was under the impression i could blank the corridor and just burst the "walls" from teleporter -> control using my weapons (laser tech), but it didnt work. Are these walls not destroyable at all, do i need higher penetration, more firepower ? If they cant be destroyed, can i "mod" their infinite ? HP ? kabill
They're indestructible in vanilla, but yes you can mod them to make them vulnerable to damage. Just increase their HP value in the spectres to more than 0.
Ragnarok
Thanks kabill. Since i have zero experience with spectres, can you point me to the file or keyword ?
kabill
Ah, actually, you'll need to download the mapping tiles from the mapping forum. Then, when you've done that, you'll need to go to tiles/UFO/walls and find the four wall spectres (the .xml files) which should be the last files in the folder (there's a ne, new, se and sw variant). Copy them and paste them into the same folder in your Xenonauts directory (so, Xenonauts/assets/tiles/UFO/walls). Once in place, open them with a text editor and change the HP values of the "default" and "damaged" rows to whatever you want (250 in each will require 500 damage total to destroy them, for example).
