  1. My first few missions all happened on the same day. The Chinook went to all in the same flight. Because of the increased number of aliens in Light Scouts, this meant that li'l thothkins managed to notch 10 kills in those missions. I noticed that there wasn't a "killed 5 aliens" medal, but instead it went straight to the "killed 10 aliens" medal. Other soldiers got their "5 kill" medals as normal. Li'l thothkins seems to have been punished for success. Admittedly very unlikely success considering previous Let's Plays

I think the deceased soldiers should not appear in the development soldier screen, instead after that screen, an image should popup with xenonaut soldiers conducting a funeral to the fallen operatives, or maybe even a xenonaut soldier Then it would show the operatives who had fallen in the defense of mankind, how many fights they had been in, how many they killed.   4. Amazing game; two suggestions: 1. I love the addition of soldiers being awarded medals that give stat bonuses in certain circumstances. I'd really like to be able to check out my soldiers' profiles and the medals they've been awarded (soz if this already exists, I haven't been able to find it) 2. I understand the rationale behind limiting the buying/selling aspect of the game, but I do feel like it would be cooler to be in control of limited base ammo stocks that need to be refilled, making choices in ammo/grenade types to buy, etc, as well as not having unlimited chem lights during missions (so the choice has to be made to buy them, supply soldiers with a certain number of them). A game mode option to toggle this kind of stuff would be awesome. Allows the game as intended by the designers, but gives the option to those who like to micromanage this kind of stuff. - note: not suggesting buying/selling to make huge profits. Churz.
  5. Rightfully redirected by Max_Caine, I post this issue here: One issue with medals is that some of my guys stopped receiving them after 20 kills and 30 mission, though some (most actually) have ~49missions and over 30 kills - need more medals for my heroes!
  6. So, I'm thinking about implementing the medal system if the Kickstarter fund goes to plan, so I'm taking a moment to sketch out how the system would look if it were to be implemented. The basic idea that I have is simple; the soldiers earn medals automatically for causing (or surviving) particularly memorable events on the battlefield. These would give small stat boosts (perhaps +1 Bravery for each medal?), and would be displayed next to their portrait on the Soldier Equip screen. These aren't intended to make massive differences to the stats of the soldiers and they're not intended to be something you farm. As such, soldiers shouldn't necessarily be able to collect that many of them. They're just little distinctions to help you get more attached to your soldiers. I've got a few ideas for medals which I've listed below, and I thought it'd be good to throw the floor open to suggestions on what else might be worth a medal. Purple Heart - Wounded in action (below 50% health after a mission) - Kill 5 aliens - Kill 3 aliens on a single mission - Win an alien base attack mission Saviour - Win a terror site mission Sole Survivor - Only surviving soldier from a victorious mission There's probably loads more, see if you can think of any. I might remove the alien base / terror attack victory medals as they're going to be very common and could devalue things somewhat, but we'll see.
