It seems to easy to get into a situation where you have no alien alloys but you can't get more because you can't bring down any of the cruiser size ships. Getting a crew to a landed cruiser is tough to pull off. I'm in a spot where I can _almost_ bring down a carrier, but I don't have enough alien alloy to build plasma aircraft weapons or any gatling lasers. It's looking like I'm pretty screwed. Maybe there should be a way to recycle plasma clips into alien alloys? I don't like games that let you go down hours-long dead-ends.

Despite the fact that fighters and heavy fighters are automatically destroyed after combat, it would be nice to recover a small amount of alloy + alenium from recovering the hull. I'm at a point in the game now where I need to construct thing and having 5 or so alloys from a fighter could make the difference between having that extra suit of wolf armor in the next mission or not. Just something for discussion and consideration. -K

Hey! After playing excessively for a couple of days now I find it slightly irritating (alpha is alpha I know) that one gets no information beforehand when trying to manufacture a specific tech. Especially for aircraft its annoying when you dont have the necessary hangars. Could anyone point me to such a table if existing? Thanks! On a related note for what would one use 'Alien Reactors' ?
