  1. In early December and just had a base defense, most fun I've had yet!!
  2. It was a sebillian officer, does that make a difference, he seemed to be wearing a helmet and gas didn't have any affect.
  3. I am trying to capture an officer, seems the way to do it is electroshock grenades, so I use them and it kills him, what am I missing?

  6. At the end of the Novella Crimson dagger in the fine print it says buy Xenonauts at Xenonauts.com and unlock a custom soldier, does anyone know anything about this?
  7. True story, my guy had a shield and wolf armor, nothing left but a puddle!
  8. Wasn't a night mission, the Bastage (trying to get by the censor) didn't even introduce himself, just chowed down, not a nice guy.
  9. I just saw a one eyed one horned flying purple people eater, that SOB ate my shield guy nothing left but a blob of something I can't describe, and it didn't take a second to do it. came out of nowhere and phfft no more sergeant whatever his name was, may he rest in peace.
  10. I have found it not to be a good idea having a reaction firing LMG behind my other troops!!!!
  11. I would pay a premium price for Xenonauts 2 with a better engine, one that you could rotate the map and actually see where you are going.
  12. I had one mission where I finally cornered the alien in a forest, had him surrounded, there was one last little black space and guess what, you guessed it, voila there he was, you have to laugh sometimes, I don't know what the coding is but there is a lot of cover for the bad guys!
  13. I installed X:/CE 0.23 the community pack over 1.07 and it still doesn't work but as I said it is not life threatening.
  14. I think I did have it working at one time but I changed to version 1.07 and it seems to have disabled it, oh well it's not a big deal.
  15. Thanks, I did find it on steam and enabled it, so I now have 1.07, I also have installed a couple of mods including a map pack so when this updates on Steam will I have to reinstall the mods?
  16. I noticed in the game files there is a quick save F5 and a quick load F8, are these disabled for some reason? just curious.

  18. Okay thanks I see it now, what about 1.07 on the Experimental branch on Steam?
  19. I guess I am just dense, I can't find a beta section, is that at the xenonaut page or in the forum, not sure where to look. also solver said something about X:CE 0.23 and I can't find that on the mods page.
  20. I am not familiar with the Experimental branch on Steam, where is it located? And I don't see X:CE 0.23 on the Mods board.
  21. There was a thread a few days ago where Chris said they might release 1.07 to Steam today, is that going to happen? How do you tell what version you are playing, I don't see anything on the opening screen.

  25. And I am assuming it would be prudent to have manufacturing at each base to cut down on the cost of transfer fees?
