I'm also experiencing the reported graphics glitches on OSX. Both the pre-packaged 1.0 OSX Humble Bundle version and the 1.05HF version with my own wine wrapper. The glitches start minimally at the beginning of the combat screen and get progressively worse until the game crashes. Saving/loading restarting etc do not seem to alleviate the issue. Additionally, after redeeming the key on Steam I can't seem to get it running there. If I try to download Xenonauts it completes immediately and then complains about a missing executable when I try to run it.
