I think a flat % chance of critical hits (maybe based on maybe weapon type i.e. pistos, rifle, shotgun, etc), improved by researching alien autopsy, would add plenty of flavor and just enough complexity. e.g. Pistol 2% rifle 10% shotgun 15% And then the research into the xeno bioforms would add 5% on top. Or something along these lines.
  2. I can see I have 8 places in the lab, but not how many living spaces. So, I was referring to what you said in the quote. It just occured to me because the living space bar was almost full and thought "hey, I can't fit 8 scientists there! ".
  3. Looks very very nice! One thing that confused me a little, is that the active function/floor, inthis case F3, moves out of the list on the wall, and F4 (workshop) is highlighted there. Maybe it's different when you see it working on your screen, I don't know. Another thing: on the hiring screen, I don't see the number of available living spaces, the color bars are not sufficient, I think. Can I hire 2 or 3 scientists in Base 2? or maybe just one?
  4. No worries, Chris, thank you for keeping us up-to-date! Conserve your energy, keep the inner fire burning but don't waste yourself. Turn-based strategy fans know the virtue of patience.
