  1. That didn't work either, it replaced all the text in the game with "####". I think I borked it.
  2. So when I try to install this mod using the mod manager, I get the "File is not a mod file" error. Any idea why?
  3. I have an idea for the building of aircraft. Make Alien Electronics, Alien Reactors etc. recoverable objects. Then you have to research that specific kind of craft to make your own bastardized version of it using the resources you have recovered.
  4. Okay, I found a fix for this. First, I had to manually remove every mention of Xenonauts from my entire filesystem. Then I ran dpkg to force remove it. This seems to have fixed it so far, but I'm still curious as to what caused the problem in the first place.
  5. So, a while back I installed v1.06 stable using the .deb file, this crashes on startup, I've tried reinstalling and that never worked. In the end I started using the .exe for windows, which works perfectly (apart from the occasional crash). The .deb file installs straight to the opt folder. Since I installed the .deb, I've been unable to update anything, as I get the error meesage "The package xenonauts needs to be reinstalled, but I can't find an archive for it.". I had to force remove it using the terminal. And this has fixed the update problem. But the problem still persists when I try to do a dist-upgrade.
  6. Great job on the mod so far. It's bloody great. I was just wondering if you have any tips for dealing with Androns? At the moment I'm up to plasma tech, and most of the time they just resist that, as well as my laser weapons. The best way for me to kill them is with the ultra heavy rifle and heavy machinegun. Does anyone know a better way?
  7. I play Warframe, Killzone Shadowfall, Battlefield 4 and UFC.
  8. Anyone wanna team up to play the campaign on authentic? Or play overwatch/survival? If so jsut drop me a friend request on PSN. PSN ID: PraiseTheMarker
  9. Thanks anyway. I'll be sure to remember that for next time.
  10. That's what I did when I installed it through the terminal. Didn't think to look under /opt though, either way, it's fixed now.
  11. I've tried that too. No dice. I also tried installing through the terminal, it looked like it was working. But when it finished I could see that no actual changes had been made. I got around this by downloading the Windows version and running it through WINE. That seems to be the best way around the problem.
  12. I'm attempting to install Xenonauts using the .deb file, but whenever I do it says "The package might be corrupted or you do not have the permissions to access this file: Please check the permissions for this file." I've checked and the permissions seem okay, can any fellow Linux users help? (I'm using Mint if it makes a difference.)
