  1. Its not wolf armor because i don't have it yet, and i just got the CTD when trying to equip my soldiers.
  2. Ahh that makes more sense. I over exaggerate too, i know it doesn't kill him but it does cripple him. I really like this game, i just think every second turn there being a chance to get screwed over by a random dice roll does not really add anything interesting. If you know the maps you have a bit more control over how to deal with them due to the range. Honestly, i just should have not enabled iron man. Thanks for the XML Changes do i need to restart for the changes to have effect? Etherway thank you
  3. The last 5 missions have had them, and according to my friend almost every single mission past October has them for him. This just is not fun, to have a random invisible dice roll that can more or less kill you without you having anyway to defend against it, aside from sheer randomness. How can i disable this?
  4. On turn 2 my berserk rifleman decides to unload her assault rifle on burst at the nearby sniper, instantly killing him. The thing is i have no idea where they are. Even worse is half the time i don't even have a chance to kill aliens, for example there was 8 aliens on this map, 6 of them were sitting in their scout. The other two are all the way near the ship. I have no idea where that crashed ship is, nor do i have any idea where the other aliens are. My choices are ether rush around the map looking for the aliens with the chance i might just end up dead, due to reactionary fire, and hoping to find the crashed scout with the psi alien. This seems like a terrible system, and basically requires you to know the maps by heart to deal with it effectively. *EDIT* Okay i am pretty sure the range +1 for distance from the alien, does not work. http://imgur.com/lbXvrAc My guy has 60 morale, i am in the bottom corner, the alien ship is farther than 20 tiles away, i am assuming it is an officer so according to the game files he was 80 psychic power. So shouldn't berzerk just never work from that distance? Nevermind its a dice roll.
  5. Is there anything besides bravery to protect against psionic attacks?
  6. So i basically can't put anyone near anyone? In Enemy Unknown you can pretty blatantly see who can be hit with Psionic attacks, since they can only be casted from within the psionic's line of sight. This allows you to adjust your strategy accordingly, to avoid those situations. In this game it could be anyone, who will be hit with the Psionic attacks. How am i supposed to prepare for this kind of thing if i can't determine who is going to be attacked? This just seems like instead of "OH CRAP a PSIONIC!", who can do a lot of damage, it is more just a tedious constant annoyance.
  7. That seems extremely unfair. Even my high level guys (mind you i am only in october* are going berzerk after a single unnerve. So what am i just supposed to hope for the best that my HW person doesn't go bezerk and gun down a bunch of people? Not everyone knows the maps off the back of their hand, so i don't even know where i am supposed to rush to.
  8. The only aliens left were inside the ship. I had a few guys stacked up on the door, but my sniper who was sitting inside the building across the street, on the second story kept getting unnerved.
  9. I am new to this game, and my guys keep becoming unnerved, then going bezerk. Which apparently is some sort of alien psionic attack. But what i don't understand is why don't the aliens need line of sight to attack you with these attacks? There is no aliens around me, but my guys keep being hit with these attacks, how can it know they are there? What am i supposed to do to defend against these attacks? Any rookies seem to instantly fall to it.
