  1. I have an idea. Maybe we can assign commissioned officers to one commanding officer slot for global buffs in each mission and 1~2 non-commissioned officers as section leaders for AOE buffs. The rest can be enlisted personnel, just like military IRL. Fluff-wise, officers, NCO's and enlisted can use the real-life rank system to represent their progress. In terms of gameplay, officers and NCO's can either be recruited directly or promoted from the enlisted. The obvious downside of this alternative is an awful lot of work for a minor problem. It is a major boost to immersion to me tho. BTW, I have seen NCO-only field units in real-life military myself.
  2. 1. UI problem, Assault Shield does not show up in Other Equipment menu. Like this: 2.Assault Shield invisible when using with Plasma Pistol.
  3. The game is automatically updated by Steam, hence I presume that is V19 Stable. I play on Windows 7 64 bit, don't know if it helps. And how should I check the version number in Steam?
  4. I soptted this one on Steam version of the game. After assigning soldier/vehicle to a specific drop ship and then click the Esc. button the game crash right away. Hopefully this is not reported before. BTW I really love this game, keep up the good work devs! Take your time and make the final release perfect.
