  1. I had a mission very early in one of my games where there were 3 sebbys hiding just behind the wall inside of a building where I had a couple of assaults that ran out of time units within their line of sight. So I had all my riflemen unload on the wall and destroy it, then had 1 of my machinegunners unload and he killed all three. I felt as much of a genius as I did the first time I played Enemy Unknown when I bazooka'd the wall of a ufo to flank the outsider.
  2. The best thing I can suggest is changing the stats of the soldier generation. If you go to .../Xenonauts/assets and open the gameconfig file with notepad then search for soldier generation variables you can change the starting stats of new recruits as well as change your initial soldier's bonus stats.
  3. I liked how in V20 Stable your armor would actually take a few hits and your soldiers would be fine until it degraded to the point where the soldier would actually take damage. I don't want to do any major overhauls of the armors or anything, but I was wondering if there was a way that I could increase the chances of armor resisting attacks or something. Basically make it like it was in version 20.
  4. Yeah, I've had a similar thing happen. And in my later ground combats I didn't have the bug anymore. Guess it's one of those weird sort of bugs that only sometimes rears it's head.
  5. I'm crappy at air combat so I tend to just autoresolve them. However, I have been having this consistent bug where anytime I try to resolve one with 50% and I fail, the game crashes to desktop. Generally it happens with ufo's that are on air superiority missions, but it has happened in other instances. And it isn't a one off bug, I can reload the same couple of saves or even start a whole new game and have it happen almost every time. And this isn't exactly a new bug for me either, I've had it happen during earlier builds as well. Not a game ruiner, but it can become a pain.
  6. Yeah, I started up my game and scrolled on the buildings and found it. Thanks for the help everyone. Extremely useful building that I am glad is in the game.
  7. This may be a very common inquiry but I couldn't find anything recent. It says in the xenopedia once it's been researched that you can build a building that gives you more detailed information about various ufo, but when I look on the build list there isn't anything new, nor is there any extra information when I go to intercept a ufo. So, is this something that was removed or being modified or what?
  8. This was an issue I had in previous builds as well, but got fixed in v20 stable I believe. Basically when you have your soldier try to heal another soldier you can only heal up to 15 hp at a time. Even if you're trying to heal 20 or 30 hp, it will only do 15 but at the same time use all the time units you invested to do so. It's easy to play around it, but I had it before and figured it would be worth mentioning.

  10. Whenever I start a game I like to outfit all my soldiers as riflemen. So I'll switch the first person's role to rifleman, then give him a grenade, and then change the default loadout to that person's equipment. Then I'll start cycling through all my soldiers and just change their role to rifleman. I'll do this for a lot of the starting cast but whenever I get to the fourth or third to last the game will just crash. I've reproduced this crash by hitting the next button, then changing role and so on until it crashes. And I've also tried directly picking each soldier in the list and it does the same thing. However, if I make a new role and use that the game doesn't crash. The reason I put it here instead of the experimental board is because; A) I tried to revert to the stable build and I still had the problem, and B) I didn't notice there was a board for the experimental build bugs. Of course, I dunno if there was maybe some weird problem and steam just didn't fully revert to the stable so the bug got carried over to the stable when I reverted. And honestly, I have crummy internet and didn't want to have to wait for like 6 hours just to reinstall the game on Steam.
