  1. The triple fighters don't crash me, but going after a single one with two Condors crashed me.
  2. Most people don't know the difference. Actually, one of the entries for a weapon actually uses "clip" and "magazine" in the same sentence! Also, the original Xcom called them all clips, despite being magazines. So I am torn between accuracy and nostalgia on that one.
  3. -Alien Biology Xenopedia entry: says "all also possess a both a circulatory..." should be "all also posses both a circulatory..." -Living Quarters completed prompt reads "LivingQuarters". Needs a space. -Not technically a typo but the ballistic pistol description refers to armour penetration whilst all other weapons refer to armour mitigation. -This is more of a mislabel. Air combat screen says that the UFO crashes into the sea when it crashes over arctic areas. At least it did both times I shot one down in the far northern Europe area. -Civilian deaths during the mission make alien death sounds.
  4. 1. Quite, quite. 2. No... but what a genius button to add. I will seek it next time I play! 3. Indeed. 4. I can see your point, but it was really annoying to hear him bullet drill his way through a generator yard to shoot a body that was laying on the ground.
  5. Awesome! I will make use of the management screen once I find it. As far as the cover went, it didn't seem to matter about where my soldiers were in the cover but I will pay increased attention to the positioning next time I play. And I quickly stopped trying to fire over my kneeling soldiers. The standing guys were really prone to shoot them in back of the head.
  6. Great game so far, can't wait for the finished product! Anyway, here's two suggestions I have for the tactical aspect of the game. 1) Why is the Scout Car always in the back of the craft? It blocks the side doors and has a hard time getting out because of all the soldiers in the way. My suggestion would be to select and modify the layout of troops in the landing craft. Maybe I want specific weapons to roll out first, or maybe I want the Scout Car to be the first one out the door. Mostly, I want the Scout Car to be first so I can use the side doors. 2) So, I couldn't help but notice that the soldiers were really frequently shooting the cover they were right next to. Perhaps let a shooter ignore the tile in front of them to represent firing over a rock, barrel or around a tree or crate? Or at least a hefty modifier to make it a rare occurrence.
  7. When the prompt appears on the world map that tells you that the items you ordered have arrived, why not tell me what items arrived? I was playing on a farm map that had a multi-level barn and the barn was incredible hard to deal with, the roof was always present and obscured my soldiers from my view. The only way I regained sight was to send a soldier into the ground floor which removed the upper levels of the building. It is inconsistent whether soldiers will stop moving when a new alien is spotted. Last problem was with one known orange alien and a new found red one. Also had problem with no previous aliens. I pretty much walked into a Sebillian accidentally. One of the civilian forces (the white shirted policeman to be specific) spent turn after turn shooting at a Sebillian that I had stunned earlier until the civilian finally did enough damage to kill the unconscious alien.
  8. I did a search and didn't find a thread like this. I am submitting the typo's and other things that probably shouldn't be the way they are that I have found so far. If you find some, put them in here and we can make it easy for the Dev's to locate. What I found so far: -Alien Alloys Xenopedia entry: says "I struggle think..." should be "I struggle TO think...". Anyone find some?
  9. Please delete this. I have reposted to the Bugs section.
