  1. I think it would be awesome to have a screen like the one in XC:EU where you can see the names/ranks/etc of all your fallen soldiers. Just for posterity.
  2. In real war, you tend not to hit very often. It happens, but most shots are fired for suppression and stuff. Hitting a moving target while it shoots back at you is harder than you'd think. Even for l33t xenonauts.
  3. I'd rather have one crash trail tile for all terrains than no crash tiles at all. Personally.
  4. I think getting stuff out of your backpack, a process that is automated in Xenonauts when you reload/throw, takes more TU than getting it out of your belt.
  5. I like it. It's very much like the kind of tech you'd see in the 70s era if you made a thing that sits on your face and has a screen.
  6. You're not supposed to be able to effectively use the alien weapons. They mention this in the xenopedia entry for the alien pistol. You eventually research ways to manufacture plasma weapons that humans can accurately fire. This solves the pacing problem in original X-COM where you could get access to really effective plasma weapons in the first month or so of the game. Yes it would be more convenient to get really accurate plasma weapons right out of the gate, but it would also be convenient to have a "win mission" button. Neither ideas are good game design.
