  1. I agree with this and am about to investigate if it can be modded. They do cut down distance at night but its too short most times. My snipers shouldn't necessarily have to use spotters but its at least an interesting tactical move. If sniper hasn't moved that turn then perhaps they should have a longer view length.
  2. Load a game saved under Ground Combat where a "City under terror" alert was active. Now load a game with that is save that is not and is on Geoscape and you will get a alert offering to send troups to that city eventhough its for another savegame. Fortunately they will not do anything when they arrive. I've also noticed that the same alert shows up after completing the mission so you get the mission request multiple times but again you cannot play multiple times.
  3. TL;DR: I encountered several bugs when I tried to relocate a charlie. Game will crash now if I try to get rid of that helicopter. First created EU base then created NA base. Had 2 Charlies in EU and wanted to relocate 1 Charlie to my new NA base with veteran soldiers. After a ground combat with said soldiers I wanted them to relocate at the nearby NA base rather than return to EU. So the Charlie was in flight back to EU. I was able to use the relocate for the Charlie while it was still flying back. On the overview map it immediately moved to the EU base from overview map and started flying to NA base. I believe the soldiers were moved EU immediately but did not relocate even though they still were bound the that Charlie which is probably a bug. I relocated them separately. Once the charlie and soldiers arrived at NA, I was unable to assign the soldiers to that Charlie. Also that Charlie did not seem to ever arrive at its destination and never took up space at a hanger even when it was at its final destination. I was never able to decommission it since it says it was currently in flight even when it was not. Also if I sent it to combat to be destroyed by a UFO it would cause the game to crash shortly afterword.
  4. The Z-NO Mart in the upper part of the map used in the city terror scenarios does not have proper walls/doors. You do not have to use door on either side of the building and walk or see right through it as though its not present. Edit: Sorry this is a duplicate. Found it a couple of pages later.
  5. Not sure if its related but my current save game will crash any time I manually manipulate inventory for one set of soldiers. My first base was Europe and then I created a North America base. Soldiers were moved from EU to NA. Now any manipulation of inventory of the NA soldiers by drag and drop will crash the game when loading from save. It does not seem to crash when I first relocate the soldiers and manipulate their inventory only after subsequent save and load. Note that EU soldiers inventory can be manipulated without crashing. I do have another issue with a Charlie that I will report separately that causes crashing and could be causing my crash. I just wanted to give another alternate way of testing for the crash. Note: Doesn't seem to crash if I move soldiers back from NA to EU. Also does not crash when removing items only when adding or moving.
