I could have had the same bug in 17.1. I had a lot of combats going on, and the UFOs got two of my f17 down, then the game crashed. I don't think I had any other airships at that time except the dropship.

Why can I only download "Xenonauts Premium Alpha ZIP" and not "Xenonauts Alpha ZIP" from http://www.desura.com/games/xenonauts/download ? Do I really have to buy the more suckier version for €14.99? "You need to purchase this release to download V16.1.rar" - But isn't premium better, and should allow me to download ALL versions?

I didn't like XCOM:EU as much as expected. So many annoying things about it.. And so I bought this game awhile back, but there are too many bugs with it then so even play it ordinary. But now with 16.1 it seems it's gonna be fine, once I get my hands on the 16.1 that is(via Desura). I expect this game to be better in gameplay than XCOM:EU. But XCOM:EU is good for multiplayer I guess?
