  1. From what I understand (among Canadians, anyway,) it's pretty common knowledge that a lot of guys headed down to the states to fight in 'Nam, just like they came up to Canada to fight during the Second World War, before the U.S. joined the war.
  2. Just thought I'd note that for Canadians, Vietnam can also be listed for combat experience. Many Canadians (around 30000,) joined the U.S. Military to fight in Vietnam, and then transferred back to the Canadian Forces when they were finished (I personally know a few guys who did this.)
