I'm astonished that no one has addressed this issue yet. The lack of published checksums or hashes is concerning. Without them, there's a risk of inadvertently installing viruses or encountering non-reproducible bugs due to errors in downloads. It's surprising that in 2018, awareness about these security measures isn't more prevalent among users.
