  1. I had the same idea.... Tried rebuild the first base, but it wasn't possible.
  2. I am happy with the looks so far, assuming it will be worked on further. Love the maps shown above. What I would like would be maps with underground levels, like some houses with underground garage / basement or military base f.e. I understand it would require some extra programming to add a level, but would be so cool imho.
  3. all soldiers have the same body model (male) in the soldier screen. It becomes very apparent after researching the stalker armor. Female soldiers with male body look weird.. Also, legs of the soldiers up to stalker seem short (they seem to be in a "semi crouched" position)
  4. flechette rounds for the grenade launcher would be nice as well, to have another usage option for the grenadier - CQC combat (single shot, a little more effective than shotgun, with range of 16 tiles)
  5. having control of the civilians, no.... I dont like that idea. What would be nice, if the armed civilians (like police/soldiers) would not act on stand alone basis, but work together, like in real life. Police could take cover and return fire, soldiers advance more aggresively as a team... I once saw a freelance civilian, who killed 2 sectons on his own with a pistol. I believe he did not make it until the end of the mission, but seeing a civ fight with such efficiency was fun.
  6. I'd love to see pilots with experience based increasing stats like piloting,/dogfighting evading, targetting for downed pilots it would be great to have SAR missions to save them
  7. love the idea of having extra funding or a one time bonus payment for saved civilians - perhaps have a certain amount per each saved from the given region ať the end of the ground combat mission..
  8. when adding a C4 charge, there is a short blink with red text on the left bottom side of the screen. Could not capture a screenshot..

  10. update - when using a single C4 charge, the crash does not occur. It seems to be only happening, when 2 c4 charges are in game (even though deployed by different soldiers)
  11. description/what happened recently I had my save games crash when I planted 2 C4 charges by 2 soldiers (1 each) by a wall during second cleaner mission. Always when I want to blow one of the charges at the start of the next turn, the game crashes. Influences all previous saves as well.
  12. also stun grenades ať 1st floor stun own soldiers on the floor below. Encountered in multiple ufo crash missions.
  13. hello, I am wondering, if there could/will be an unmanned aerial platform as well (for recon or attack). The MARS ugv is very good and the UAV would be so much useful for recon/combat on the battlefield.

  15. Hello, wouldn´t it make sense to be able to sell (or equip) the accelerated weapons of Cleaners after the Cleaner Base mission? I believe I only had bunch of cleaner files and some alien alloys, but no cleaner rifles etc...

I agree with most mentioned above, however: 1. agree fully 2. agree - I never tried totake the accelerated weapons from the cleaners during mission - can they be used or are they blocked the same wa as the alien magnetic guns? 3. looking forward to see improvements, but its "usable" even now 4. agree - burst fire sucks, but the MG is still very useful to supress the enemy in order to move the other soldiers forward. Shields also work well in providing cover and protecting from at least one shot, which is the main purpose really in my eyes. 5. Agree on the intitial dropship - could be smaller, however no UH-1 nor CH46/53 fly at the speed as the Skyhawk does (even if the story introduces it as modified). It would make more sense to have a V-22 or the prototype V-44 as the initial dropship and then go with the Dragonfly and so forth.
  17. For breaches I use either the grenadier, MARS or the C4 (in cases where I know where the alien is hiding) to break the wall and attack a building with assault soldiers. What I´d love to see though, would be satchel charges (lighter than C4, ballistic damage, proximity fuse ideally), that would make the game much more fun - to set traps ot to cover parts of the map, where Xenonaut forces are weaker.   18. hello, is it just me or have you also noticed, that your female soldiers are in general more plentiful, stronger and generally with better stats? Nothing against gender equality, but in war we do not see female soldiers on the bettlefiels as much as male, do we.. Perhaps this game logic could be worked on, so that in the available soldiers to recruit, there would be less females stronger than males. In my current game (second run already), the nbers of male and female soldiers is 4:12 , in the game before the ratio was about 60% of female soldiers as well... Does not make much sense to me.
  19. perhaps also havin different body types (male / female) instead of havin male body for all your soldiers and only change the face. Very apparent with the stalker armour in case of female soldiers...
  20. Hello, really enjoy the game in early access, here are my ideas on missions, that would be fun as well. 1. Rescue missions (downed pilots, important person, agents etc) On the geoscape, there could be a countdown for the rescue. In the mission, the mechanic could be similar to cleaner missions, where you have a certain amount of turns before the aliens or cleaners show up looking for the pilot as well. 2. Cleaner missions (sabotage, raid, assasinations etc) More missions against cleaners, sabotages of their organization or Technology raids (perhaps also have them attack your bases). Sabotages and disruptions of cleaner network could f.e. increase your monthly funding, as they would be loosing influence and raids could give you some alloys, alenium or a Tech to research. 3. Local military support For a bounty or increase of funding, sending your squads to help defend a military base against an attack by the cleaners or aliens. The friendlies would be the local military with equipment, no civilians. Win conditions to defend a certain person or piece of eqipment (nuke storage, sam sites etc), loose otherwise. 4. Covert operations Infiltration of an enemy base and securing an item or set of items without being detected (not sure if feasible, there would have to be either supressed weapons necessary or an enemy would have to be eliminated within 1 turn (or within react fire) without the AI "noticing" the death.
