Hi all, From the UFO series, I loved the outfitting templates. Squad A -> D where you culd Select different soldiers and outfitting, Instead of having to do it all over every time. Now, I have not been able to play very far until the game freezes, but I imagine I would like om different weapons and gir depending on mission type, close quaters and so on.

Dear Chris, I, and a tons of others, paid early to see the game developed. I reagularly check the forum even though I do not contribute much, and I really appreciate the transparancy of Goldhawk Interactive. I could not care less if you started selling it for $5 or what ever you decide is the best pricepoint to recruite more customers/players. Thats your call. Cheers!

I see we have moved on to the area of pre-owned games. An area Chris did not say anything about. Maybe for good reasons. Pre-owned games is a hard nut to crack. The laws and common sense says you should be able to resell something. That said it does however weaken the financial situation of game developers. None of the cashflow of pre-owned games ends up in the pockets of those that actually made the product. We do not actually have to discuss this in regards to xenonauts because there is no DRM, hence no restraints. Back in the days when I pirated myself I spent a lot of money on games as well. I can not ethically defend my piracy. I can and have however stopped pirating. I do not want to point fingers and say "Thou shall not Pirate". I have however found that many of the people around me have a low threshold for pirating. The easy access make them pirates without them making any ehtical checks. That is something I would like to see changed. We have to be aware that someone have put a lot off effort into making a product, and taking it without compensating them is wrong. I want to help raise this kind of awareness. Maybe this is my way of repenting.

Hi Chris, Could not find any feedback on it, but i feel you deserve it. I totally agree with you on all points. In addition I would like to point out that most people would understand that buing from a fence is wrong. When it comes to Pirating, the torrentsite becomes a fence. And yes, I have also in my youth gotten hold of pirated goods. Most everyone has. In my case I stopped doing it for ethical reasons, and later when I started working in gaming media it became a matter of fact. And off course, to not be a hypocrite, for me Piracy includes everything. Not only games, but movies and music as well. Thats my 5 cent.
