  1. As awesome as it would be to have a touch screen version, as long as you have a usb port for a splitter, plugging in a small keyboard and mouse is still ideal for this sort of game (tried and tested and a lot of fun!)
  2. Give me a few days and I will come up with some alternative, creepy/bloody tilesets
  3. Currently no this is a more of a modding resource and requires mappers to implement the objects but due to lack of interest this seems to be an issue
  4. An update will be out in the next couple days, fleshing out the construction tilesets with some fixes in the spectre's. With this release I intend to release a couple submaps and maybe a full map if I have time.

  6. I can imagine, I had the editor crash upon me lots of times, there are certain actions it just doesn't like! I semi fixed the problem with the solution of layering. Will have to make a couple real test maps with my assets to definitively know they all work as intended. Right now im burned out, need a couple hours away from it

  8. I have been looking at original xenonaut map files, and it appears that building on layer 0 is fine, probably not what is causing the issue.
  9. I am 99% certain everything is on layer 0 I will change that and keep you updated to see if it's a fix! thanks for the tip
  10. after some work i finally managed to get it working. Now that I have it working I have discovered a new problem. None of my objects have any tile consumption, or in otherwords. EVERYTHING can be walked over, walls,cars,props. But the weird thing is, even normal objects like vanilla cars from the xenonauts game, also don't take up any space. Is there a file or two I am missing that would cause this?
  11. I change my command line on a shortcut to ''xenonauts.exe'' -quickbattle, but this does nothing. Can anybody talk me through the process so I can figure out what I am missing?
  12. Honestly, it really isn't. I would be able to help you with it. I have skype and I am looking for people to make maps on a regular basis. If that sort of thing interests you just let me know
  13. I do hope to, at the very minimum make a few submaps for people to use. That way, people just have to compile the set with what they want and it's all good to go. but for now I will focus on the tiles themselves

  15. You can't honestly be mad at Skitso? He provided people with an option and an alternative to the current content. Offended? Don't download it. All he did was make an alternate that he possibly (or possibly not) preferred to the current one, now it's up to you guys to make more variants that you find more realistic....Now i'm off to make xenonauts with giant wangs.
  16. One thing I would love, is if I had somebody that could use the tilesets to make maps. As much as I would love to do it all, I just don't have the time. If anyone is willing to volunteer to make maps designed around my tiles, that would be amazing.
  17. That could be pretty awesome. Making the actual tilesets is very time consuming. I think I may have spent 30-40hours making the ones currently up for download.
  18. Probably not, as much as it would be greatly to perfectly match the game's assets, I can't really do it and it's not what I want to focus on doing.

  20. My focus will be to develop 2 tilesets at a time. My next phase is to make a few more props and giving them floor tiles for both WWII and construction before I call them complete and move on. After that I will focus on two new tilesets, which will most likely include an alien tileset

  24. There is, but no option to delete them, I can go into the forums attachment system but it only has buttons allowing me to add files, not delete them and nothing to get them off my thread as attachments, making it uncluttered and unchangable for when I want to edit updates
  25. I have made a thread where I update the images for my mod, however I keep them under spoiler tabs to keep the posts short, only clicking will reveal the images. However I deleted the spoiler links, and all of a sudden I have attachments showing up outside and under my post. How do I remove this?
