Could you guys help me? I registered in this forum just because of this problem:
I'm playing Xenonauts with XCE, XNT and Fire in the Hole mod and recently the game started to lag and freeze a lot, sometimes even CTD for no apparent reason. It started lagging only when there was a lot of smoke on screen, but right now it freezes from the start of each mission (for like 2 minutes for each turn or for explosions).
I didn't notice that XCE had been updated and I ignored the warning that said that something was wrong with the mod order or something else, so I only patched XNT for 0.31 recently (that didn't fix lag or freezing). Perhaps that bugged my saves?
I followed the instructions for installing FitH, and my laptop should not be having any difficulties to run this game. What could be causing this problem?
