i had gone into the assets folder, and replaced the files with the mod files, I'm guessing this is what you're saying, but thanks for the fixing info!

so I had installed the mod and went to play the game, but it didn't work properly because I installed it wrong, so I undid the copy, and started the game up, but i had lost the ability to build anything and I suspect that i wouldn't be able to pilot any of the crafts either, and all the subtitles and stuff were replaced with their folder names, is there any way to fix this? xenonauts is currently my favorite game and I don't want to lose everything that I had in it forever.

This is a bit off-topic, but the website isn't allowing me to download anything because of some reason, one of the possible reasons was that my account wasn't activated, I decided this to be the most likely reason, but I haven't gotten an activation e-mail, so, what do I do? EDIT: nvm, just getting the community edition through steam works fine, right?
