Also can we take a moment to talk about the epic struggle between player and RNGesus that is a base raid. i have raided a base and waited in the deployment zone with no enemies attacking or anything long enough for the random nerve/hallucination effect to drive everyone in my group to kill each other without out ever taking a step. I dont know whats doing it but please tell me how to turn it off, because it turns an otherwise tense mission into a Trouble in terroist town game quick.
  2. well now ive unlocked a flame cannon thing that i can mount to the scout car which turns it into an apc with no weapon. and also i unlocked a pulse cannon witch specifically stated it could be mounted to the scout car and doesnt.

  6. you can read right? did i not just say that the ALIENS have to run out of cover to kill me. i know this might not be your native tongue but id at least try to understand if it if your gonna use it.
  7. Man the paintball gun ranges are killing me. The accuracy is so low that the aliens are forced to run out of cover and right in front of me to get kills. can someone tell me how to change the accuracy for all the guns? like which file in the XML to edit

  9. You just gotta accept that some people are on a different level. what you see as hard may be pleb shit to some people. i suck at strategy for the most part, but i can confirm that there is nobody you know that can beat me in FPS. my twitch game too strong
  10. why would he lie though? Its very possible. Ive seen a guy beat dark souls on hardest difficulty with a rock band guitar.
  11. You got to punch through that armor bro. the armor is finite, the resists wont last forever. If its alittle to tuff you should prolly switch to normal to get used to the mod. this isnt a easy mod and i had to scrap my first playthrough.
  12. That's perfectly fine. I just wanted to know when the English revisions were gonna be done. When v1.0 rolls around just give me a shout. English is needlessly complicated. But that happens when you take like 10 different languages and structures then smash em all together..
  13. Id be more than happy to advise on structure and proper usage if i'm wanted.
  14. Frag Grenade and rocket: "Our militaristic ballistic explosives". Incomplete sentence. "We hope that they would be enough before we fire back with better things." No subject, past and present tense usage. non sequitur. C4 charge: "They are pratic* to use but we don't know the enemies armour." Non-sequitur, No subject, Run-on sentence. "Still this is one of our best shot for the first weeks maybe..." Broken structure and punctuation. Could add the AWACS one too but it is pretty sin free. Id like this mod to carry though this games life cycle and attract more people. Mistakes like these are a easy fix and shouldn't be looked over cuz they're small or barely noticeable. Id change them myself, but i don't want to mess with the tone/feel of the information while doing corrections. English is my first language.
  15. Is there anyone working on a proper English translation for everything? like ive said before i love the mod, but the broken English is messing with my OCD hardcore.
  16. The first thing i tried to do in vanilla when i got a hunter was send my troops behind it for cover. after it didnt work i never used them again. that is one of my favorite additions and has me using vehicles again for the added tactical advantage.
  17. when i get some time and im in the middle of a mission with a bunch of guys behind an alien door i will send you the save.

For the alien ship doors thing i should have been more clear. the doors do close at every turn but i can still hit the aliens on the other side. with this i just stick a hunter, sniper, and machine gunner in front of the door and manually attack it and the bullets go through the door and wipe out all the aliens behind it.
  19. Im currently playing on hotfix 6 and only other mod is skito's maps. Bug - when firing at downed ships main door its possible to hit aliens all throughout the ship. recommend adding the mod that makes all alien ship doors stay open. critique - Noticing that small ships like like the light scout and scout come with upwards to 8 aliens plus 4 dead crewmen. seems a bit excessive. have had many times where the aliens that stay in/guard the ship are blocking each other and can barely move. critique - i've noticed the base game ballistics have been altered, but the descriptions don't reflect them. i know you said your working on descriptions for the new weapons and i hope that descriptions for the old ones are in the works. critique - For making amunition and items that give more than one (example: Incendiary grenade give three for every unit produced) it would be more informational to add like a (x 3) next to it. (Example: Incendiary grenade x 3) Translation - This doesn't reflect on your work or anything, but the broken english is a bit off putting. If you'd like id be more than happy to work on a english translation for everything if you send me a word doc of any kind giving a general description of what you want expressed for each item/xenopedia description/loading screen ect. That way if you'd prefer you could also work on a translation in your native language. I don't have anything else that comes to mind right now but if you like the the suggestions so far i can do a dedicated bug hunt and come up with more thoughts.
  20. using fire in the hole v3 and have come across HPB files. what do i do. using a fresh vanilla copy
