Gentlemen, I'm having the Devil's own time recovering a Saved Game. Most often, I crash to the desktop on Load. I do hope you can fix this. Slinger

After upgrading to V20-4, I have deleted all my old Saves. I restarted a New game. After killing all the aliens, with Charlie in the air, I tried to Save my progress. No soap. The game hangs, and finally CTD. Sorry to ruin your Christmas... Slinger

Yes, you are correct, Dranak. A game on an earlier patch that carried forward, and was broken. If you can't carry the games forward, why not erase the Saved Games? It would save me (and others?) a whole lot of time. Just a thought... S

I'm having no difficulty with the Base ending. That seems to work fine. My problem is after Charlie has left the Alien Base, and I want to save the game. After many minutes, the game is stuck on the Save/Delete scrteen, hence Task Manager. A game restart does show a saved game with the correct label, but trying to load that saved game also hangs my computer. I, too, have an SSD drive (which I love), and all my Nvidia drivers are automatically updated. Slinger

I've tried twice to off an Alien Base. Each time I win, and try to save the game, Xenonauts hangs so that I have use Task Manager to stop it. The Base was visible before I updated to V20-4, but I had not yet invaded it. I agree with Redwallzyl. Charlie-1 acts as though it's stuck on return flight, but it will respond to a Return to Base order. All played on Normal mode. Slinger

Hi Aaron, I went back and tried the last Autosave, and things are working well. Only when I went back to a saved ground operation did Xenonauts crash. Not so bad... Sandy

I'm playing 19.4, and the confrontation is in an agricultural setting. After blowing up the hedgerows, I'm still not able to pass through them. Not right... SandytheSlinger

Manged to have the Crashsite land right on the base. Wanted to launched the Chinook, but the targeting kept fixing on the Base not the Crashsite. Had to let the Crashsite expire to proceed. In the original UFO game, targeting would give an option about which site to use. Perhaps a useful feature? Sandy

Twice now, I have either had none or one aliens left, only to have the game crash just as I was closing in. That presumes there are no more than seven aliens in a Scout. Sandy

This is no big deal, but the notice displayed when the Chinook reaches the Crashsite is still observable during Ground Combat. It happens when an unexplored part of the Combat Field happens to coincide with the middle of my LCD. Sandy

I suspect this is part of the same bug that I encountered. Sent three fighters to engage a Scout. Missed. Two F-17(?) destroyed. Got message that my "Mig32-32 escaped to space." Wonder if the Russians knew it had that capability?

Hi Chris, So glad V 8.4 is released. Very glad to have this version. An Alien was around the downed Scout shooting my guys, but dispite my best efforts, I could not see him or get him to register in any way. Judging from his fire, he was under the brown wings/tailfins, but three of my guys died without ever 'seeing' him. Invisible Aliens? I hope not. They're tough enough. SandytheSlinger

Chris, If this is the right forum (I never can figure that piece out) playing 8.2, have a problem with targeting aliens with my guys in the ship with the alien. The site jumps all over, but sometimes never lands on the alien. And then of course, the bastard fries my buns... Please help! My buns are so over fried...

I just don't get it. Since 8.1 doesn't run on my machine, I NEED to have 8.2, but as windex pointed out, it's 3:20pm EST and I still can't get Desura to download it. It's enough to make me want to move to Australia... Phooey
