lordfeff Posted August 11, 2012 Share Posted August 11, 2012 (edited) If you press escape to pause the game at the start of the game before placing your base down and then attempt to resume the game to place your base the game immediately ends and you lose. I also noticed that the first time I tried to start the game after this effect I was unable to see the Geoscape and only on the 3rd new game was I able to see the geoscape and place my base down.
