Whenever I try to save the game it does nothing. I type a name for the save game, click save and it does not appear on my saved games when I click on load/save game. I've tried reinstalling, changing betas (Legacy and X:CE), with and without mods and changing the install folder. Still nothing. It would be much appreciated if someone has a fix since I cannot even play the game due to this bug (and I would like to play very much). I also have another bug but luckily it's not game breaking. Whenever I try to change any audio settings it instantly crashes to desktop. I have also tried all of the above to fix it and nothing. SOLUTION: I changed the save location to my desktop (originally in my documents). My saves just don't work if there in the documents folder for some reason -
First post, hi everybody! Finally got around to trying out the alpha I paid for a while back. Sorry for this newb question because, let's face it, I am a noob I saved a game during a ground combat mission at a crashed UFO. When I started the game today and loaded the savegame it took me to the geoscape instead of the ground mission. Is this a known bug or do I not know what I'm doing? Tried to search but found no hits so I'm asking here. Thanks ahead of time for your help.

So I can save my game once, but I cannot overwrite my previous save game. The only thing I can do I put a number after the save name (1, 2, 3, 5), and I also cannot delete old save games. At least one of the two features (Though I would recommend both)should be added in before the release.

Apologies for being a noob, but I can't find any button or pulldown to save a game in build 8.5. Not on Geoscape, not on ground combat. Am I looking right past it?
